Good game Roosters. Can't wait to find out how the ref sees it.

Youse guys have no idea how close it was to 4 v 5. I've been frenetically trying to do my (left to the last minute) philosophy essay over the last day or two and set aside an hour or two tonight to bang out a 7s article off the top of my head. No sooner had I finished then some sort of error message came up and all my work was gone, gone, gone. I tried everything to find it, and had dead-set given up on it (and I was certainly in no mood to start from scratch again and postpone the rather more serious business of philosophy essay) when I decided to restart the computer, and whaddya know, there it was

Anyway, it came back as a restored document (is that the right term?) and it had obviously last been saved an hour or two before because it was weighing in at 828 words, so what you see isn't quite the off-the-top-of my-head wisdom of the original, but it's near enough.

I think u guys may pip us at the post however as one of our articles isn't that strong and i think that may hurt us badly.

I believed this was our semi final cause i want to finish second but now i am concentrating our efforts on Newtown in the last round and making sure to field our Best team.

I can't help liking your team big mick, full of grace and wit. I hope it's a draw that way we can all be happy...a great game would be the better word for it.

Please to see Thiery that you got your post in. Check up the timings on you backups you can alter then too - helpful if it is a esay of improtance and someone kicks the power plug out..

To add to what ozzie said, Mick, when it comes to the sevens, your team is an affable bunch and you've got some great talent. Good luck with the bluebags. They're definately beatable and you're one of the teams that can do it.

despite the fact that in the NRL the panthers and roosters have a fierce rivalry, if there was a team to beat us i'd want it to be you. I like your team, you have a great team spirit and i just hope that we can reach your hights one day. It was an honour to play you guys.

Backpacker, if i know it was that, i did in fact read it and quite enoyed it, i thought itwas going to be facts and the like to back up the article, if i knew it was just a little joke i certainly would have allowed the endnote, but that is history.

congrats to both teams, it was a great game, certainly great to get 5 v 5 on either side, we are both great outfits with massive amounts of talent, lets hope we meet again in the grand final.

Thanks for the game Roosters, it was a great game and a pleasure to take part in. How tense did it get waiting for the score!

It's a wierd feeling. In one way it's nice to know that we pushed you all the way, we put a lot of effort in and we couldn't have come much closer. In another way I feel absolutely gutted that we missed out by such a small margin. I can't grumble with the result though, you deserved it. Good luck with the rest of the season.

PTC, this is why we enjoy playing you guys. Humble in both victory and defeat and we've had one go each way in the regular season. You're a great bunch and have what we've got, great team spirit. I think there'll be another grand tussle in the finals and another gut wrenching wait.

well done guys, a fantastic win.

YOu guys played extremely well and as much as i'm disappointed that we lost, it was an honour to play you guys again and again in such a close match.

In my view we have both won, you guys on the scoreboard, but our guys have binded together again into a cohesive unit. There is great team spirit now at penrith and this is great to see. The sevens has found its home at leagueunlimited and its a pleasure that both penrith and easts have found a common ground and mutual respect, unlike our NRL counterparts.

I have nothing but upmost gratitude for u guys, you were the benchmark i set for myself in my posting and my inspiration as a captain of the mighty panthers. You taught me that to be a great captain you need to understand your teammates and be one of them, which i think i have suceeded. I never push my teammates, i always try to help as much as i can, and although closing into full time i get a bit tense with when the articles may be in (heheh theirry, only joking mate) i know my boys will produce the goods as we are committed, just like the roosters.

Once again, congratulations on the win. WE will see you in the finals, and hopefully the grand final. Congratulations and good luck with your game against Brisbane.
