I didn't mean to come across the way I did, it's just frustrating at the moment. Losing players all over the place and then we manage to keep one, the one we'd been desperately trying to keep for a good few months now and most of the commentary seems to be focused about paying overs.
700k overs? it's probably slightly overs, 600k is a good signing, anything above is overs .. but when you got clubs like the Titans prepared to put 1.2m on the table for someone like David Fifita (which I think is huge overs for an edge backrower, despite the bag of tries he has scored he has been missing when the Titans need him to get them back into the game and they're not attacking the opposition's try line).
For me it depends what his role is in the halves, if he's put next to someone like Reynolds.. it's a different proposition altogether, he can just run and develop other skills as time goes on. Obviously, he won't be a game managing half but during his contract negotiations it was reported he won't sign until he knows who the halfback will be, which leads me to believe we're not done yet in the player market.
