Dear Members and Supporters,
The Board realises that things have not been running as smoothly as possible and we would like to reassure you that we are doing all possible to get the team back to winning form.

Due to the overwhelming calls for the club to re sign Dean Treister I have decided that an immediate approach will be made to Dean to rejoin the Sharks asap.

If Dean is agreeable to terms we expect he could be back in Sharks colours as early as next week.

Again thank you for your continued support and input.

Regards

Barry Pierce

Why don't you guys just move on?!

You all act like you are the only club not to have had a massive turnover of players in recent years!

Look at Canberra! Here is a side that LET GO Bradley Clyde and Ricky Stuart.

The Radiers are successful , and have been strong for a number of years ever since that time!

Clyde and Stuart and WAY above any player you are all complaining about losing!

I mean fair dinkum , Dean Treister was hardly a match winner , he had commitment and intensity , which is great! But for GODS SAKE move forward to the future and stop looking back at the past.
None of the players you have lost apart from Preston Campbell can be described as a match winner - but lets face it , Preston didnt want to be there, he was playing like crap for Anderson , even in RESERVE GRADE , and he has lifted at another club.

Its all about mental application and COMMITMENT.

Please, for your own SAKES - MOVE ON!

While you're at it, I am suprised you aren't calling for the return of Gavin Miller and Les Davidson

for some unforseen reason ......this sportsjock character seems to think we give a fug what he thinks

.....someone really should tell him that no-one cares for his worthless opinion so he can save himself from further humiliation

He would be good for giving away another few penalties a game!

Surely you boys need that right now

     I know, heaven forbid someone coming in here talking sense, reality and reason! I guess loving being humiliated and all I tried to find a place that breeds the word- so I looked up the word in the dictionary and found Cronulla Sharks football team, so thought i'd come on and humiliate with you all! ;-) - I'll let you get back to talking around in circles and living in the past ok?! :) happy easter!

A little logic in your arguement would be great guys......

the team has good players playing poorly.

spirit, commitment and pride in the jumper are what the team needs.

So, how can you say you "know" dean will not help win us games when it is precisely those assets that are strongest points and the ones he consistantly brought to the field every week ?

At least Deano wouldn't 'laugh off' a loss like that friggin' pathetic effort last night.

None of our current players care if they win or lose.

Greg Bird should have been in the stands last night apologising to the fans. Instead he was strutting around with his homeboy mates looking like a total tosser.

Deano NEVER EVER took a loss well. He always felt like he had let us down. And THAT is the reason he never DID let us down.

Get him back. NOW, FFS. NOW.

Saw Greg at the races on Saturday too, wearing a White dinner suit jacket. Stood out like dogs balls. I don't give a fug what he does off the field but I know some of you do so there you go.

On the subject though, I met Dean Treister on Saturday night. He was having a couple in the Immortals bar and came over and had a chat. In my drunken stupor I promised I would name my first son, Dean, after him. Fug I was smashed. Dean is a deadset champion though!

The club does need some passion. From where is the question?

No doubt bringing Deano back would lead to some passion returning. I would love him to be back in the Sharks colours.

I think the answer is with the current crop of young guns we have coming through.

We saw the 1994 presidents cup team basically grow up together and work their way through the grades. They all wanted to play for the sharks and for each other.

It wont be an overnight process though.

If Raper, ET (with the help of the senior players) can get the same thing happening with these youngsters we have at the moment the pride and passion of playing for Cronulla will hopefully return.

Once it does i hope we again become a tight knit club which is proud to represent the shire and have the drive for that first premiership!

WTF was going on at the races on Saturday? Half the shire was there. My whole immediate family bar me and my brothers was there.

Well, there was 54000 people there. Top wins by Mummify and Dance Hero got me out of the poo. Niello never got a run but Starcraft was way too good. Randwick was sensational. So much better than Rosehill. Wish I was out there today.
