The public’s sentiment that was extracted from the SSM debate seemed to reflect a desire for fairness and the principle of letting people live their lives without undue interference. Many saw it as an issue of equality, rather than a broader challenge to societal norms.Don't equate SSM with gender issues. I'm pro SSM, but against the idea that gender is separate from sex and don't agree with pronouns and the idea that gender is an undefined, unquantifiable thing. Its childish and regressive.
Bringing up pronouns right now is as unhelpful as bringing up people who think they are cats.
