Casson keeping up his good form of late. Our current bowling lineup I'm definitely not confident with.

Read in the papers today that if Pakistan tour doesn't go ahead NSW will be calling on all their Aust rep's.

Possible side:

1.Phil Jaques
2.Phil Hughes
3.Simon Katich
4.Michael Clarke
5.Brad Haddin
6 and 7.Dominic Thornely/Usman Khawaja/Steven Smith( Battle for 2 spots)
8.Brett Lee
9.Stuart Clark
10.Nathan Bracken
11.Stuart MacGill

I'd definitely go with

Jaques
Hughes
Katich
Haddin
Clarke
Thornely
Smith
Lee
Bracken
Clark
MacGill

With Henriques as 12th man.

yet another century to Simon Katich. If he doesnt get his Aussie contract back its an absolute disgrace!

nsw 3/232 , with katich on 121 not.

katich now has 1280 runs for the season. 210 more needed in 6 innings (including this one) to break Bevans record.

go the blues!

It's like Katich is playing local 4th grade when he plays for NSW. He is way too good for the Pura Cup.

How many tons for Kat this season??????? he's having an amazing summer for someone without an Australian contract.

if the final is played in Melbourne, then i'd say take Steve Smith, if its played in Sydney I'd go with Moises.

I tell you what but, we'd need a couple of the pacemen...with Bollinger out and everything, we are definately down a great bowler there and would need the Aussie reps to have a chance against the Vic's imo.

1. Phil Jaques, 2. Phillip Hughes (SO GLAD ED COWAN AINT THERE ANY MORE!), 3. Simon Katich, 4. Michael Clarke, 5. Brad Haddin, 6. Domonic Thornley, 7. Moises Henriques/Nathan Hauritz (jks jks)/Beau Casson/Steve Smith, 8. Brett Lee, 9. Nathan Bracken, 10. Stuart Clark, 11. Stuart Macgill.

Personally I wouldn't take Macgill...too unco at the moment, i'd leave Casson there. Getting a few wickets and making runs...he's an all-rounder at the moment. But either one we go with we still have Mick Clarke and Katich if we need a few spin options outside the top line...which is why i'd go with the extra pace option of Henriques as the #7.

Casson gone for 25

Thornley, Khuwaja and Smith to come. Thornley in atm.

Hopefully we can get the 165 runs and take first innings points and put us clear in front.

seems to be a good declaration by Katich, the bowlers have backed him up well
