It has impact for sure and certain, it has more impact at away grounds usually. Players hear a small group of fans who have travelled and are yelling out for them, and the players do respond certainly.

You haven't heard of the "death squad" ???? and you've been a season seat holder for 10 years ????????? Geez mate you really don't have a clue about what is going on around you at your own footy ground do you !?

Anyone else here remember the "death squad" at canberra when jason death played there ?

Maybe I vaguely remember the 'death squad'. I forgot about those Jason Death fans, I actually thought you were on about some guys who thought they were hard or something.

It's good to see such rivalry between Sharks and Raiders teams in a top of the table clash. It means that fans from both teams are keen and right behind two teams that have had good starts to the season.

"Friendly banter" is fine, singing doesn't worry me. "Unfriendly abuse" is what is not on. Personal, sexual, racist insults are not on. Neither is threatening behaviour. There are still fans like this around. I choose to ignore them. They shouldn't be allowed inside the gate.

Some of the comments on here are ridiculous. Honestly, the Sharks 'Army', or whatever you call yourself is never going to go anywhere with people like this in it. Anything that adds atmosphere to the ground is brilliant by me, obviously not your lot though...

So drunken idiots who try to pick fights with the oppisition supporters because there team lost and they couldn't take a bit of s##t stiring at the end of the game adds atmosphere does it?, this hole post was started because of these idiots I for one don't mind friendly banter between supporters that adds to the atmosphere of the game but I object to idots who can't handle there grog and think that there 6 feet tall and bullet proof and think its ok to try and start fights when there side losers.

This thread has nothing to do with the game. There has not been a single item of discussion regarding the game. The original post was one of whinging that the Raiders Army wouldn't shut up. The Sharks fans initiated the whinging and the Raiders fans interjected with the other side of the story. You sound like one of the people who believes everything he reads in the Daily Rag.

I started the original post and it was about the drunken raiders idiots trying to pick fights after the game so get your facts straight doppy before you say anything.

No it wasn't. It was a moron having a go at proper fans. We have worked our arses off to get this thing going and to a decent standard to just let a 13 year old girl slander us over the net. I have no issue with the Sharks football team otherwise I wouldn't even be in this forum.

woodgers I started this thread in relation to the drunken idiots who even your self admitted to having words with after the game about their behaviour, so no I wasn't have a go at the proper fans as you have stated and as for refuring to me as a 13 yr old girl well I'll discuss this with you in person the next time we play and you can explain your self then.

I remember 'Death Row' when he was playing for the Warriors. They'd all come dressed as the Grim Reaper

I lost any respect for you Woodgers when you displayed the notion that you think you are a better fan than others because you travel to every game or because you started a little group that sing songs. Every fan is as important as the next.

They where giving it to us from the kick off then when we won we of course gave them a bit in return, what a pack of sooks, it wasn't all of them I might add just a small group wearing those snot green tshirts with "believe" written on the back, I guess they didn't want to "believe they just got beaten". They got a huge dose of the S##ts and wanted to start fighting with a couple of the boys, we of course gave them double after that and security and the coppers told them to bugger off:lol: A fun day was had by all

Why? Because you came on an open forum and gave it to a group of fans who give their heart and soul every week, tarnishing us all with the same brush because of 1 idiot. I feel that is not why you were angry but more that we were singing songs towards you guys at times. If you have an issue there are better ways to clear things up than starting a crap thread on an open forum that has lasted 7 pages. Every Sharks fan that wasn't there is going to think we are all a bunch of thugs thanks to you and that is not the case. That is the sort of behavior I would expect from a teenager rather than an adult.

Perhaps I was off the mark, fair play. However, if you are a season ticket holder who follows every game and result and you work next to someone who says they are a Sharks fan but never attend a game and barely check the results, are you not more important? I believe you are McSharkie. There are degrees of support, some are keener than others and those are the facts.

But you made out that the small minority was all us guys who have the shirts with BELIEVE on the back. Myself and a buddy put about 80 hours between us into getting those shirts up and running and for no pay. We had no choice but to do it because the club gave all members a blue shirt that resembled the Bulldogs and we had to do something to show support of the 'Green Men'

Sure, I have been to Brooky, Parramatta, Melbourne, Perth and Canberra so far this year. I am going to Brissy and Townsville later this year. I have been a season ticket holder for 5 years. I buy sh*tloads of merchandise. I am on this forum WAY too much.

I see myself no more important than the guy who attends every home game and no away games.

I see myself no more important than the guy who get's to every game he can because he has weekend work commitments.

I see myself no more important than the Queensland Sharks fans who support their team just as much as I do but can't travel down to Sydney every weekend.

There are certainly guys out there who are claytons fans. They just say they support a team for the sake of having a team. You won't find any of them in here though.
