The real Warriors start this weekend.

While the 2019 season might be over for our first-grade side, the NRLW competition is just about to get underway with the Warriors kicking things off against the Sydney Roosters in Melbourne this Saturday, 5.05pm (NZT).

After that, they'll be back to Auckland for next weekend's stand alone game at Mt Smart Stadium against the St George-Illawarra Dragons. Tickets are just $10 for adults and kids (15 and under) get in free.

Warriorwomen were excellent. The big halfback who has just switched from Union was best on park with a fantastic kicking game. Very enjoyable to watch.

Had a chuckle when commentators (possibly Voss) said to female commentator and ex-player “Is there wrestling coaches in the female game” and she said no not yet but hopefully soon.

I guess if they want to ruin open football and quick play the balls, then that’ll do it!!
