Really? Let's see:

Passing - FARAH (Hinchcliffe had average service, and had horrible service in the clutch, while Farah had good service from dummy half)
Kicking - FARAH (He can kick, unlike Hinchcliffe. His one kick was a good kick)
Defense - FARAH (Topped the tackle count and was strong all night. Hinchcliffe wasn't bad, but Farah had better defense)
Running - EQUAL (Hinchcliffe had some nice runs, but so did Farah)

So where does Hinchcliffe win exactly :??

The try Hinchcliffe scored was weak defence by Farah. Completley disagree on defence, Farah is highly suspect in defence. Also i'd say Hincliffe's "running" game was better than Farrah's, he did score a try. Overall id say they are pretty even.

bit from left field, but nsw could do worse then james maloney

if he was playing for a sydney club he would be pretty seriously considered imo

Maloney is a good player. But horribly inconsistent. The best one game and then very average the next few

Talk is that Gordon may be on the bench as a utility, let me be the first to say that while I think he would handle it fine, I don't like it. I generally prefer to pick players in their normal positions, if you can't pick a guy then don't pick him, if you force guys into different positions you are setting them up for failure IMO

True, but there a very few players who you can say are "specialist' utilities though

I got it guys:

1. Dugan
2. Uate
3. Gaz
4. Idris/Jennings
5. Hayne

6. Mullen/Soward
7. Mullen/Pearce (Mullen should be there and either Soward or Pearce, why? Because I'm biased)

8. Snowden
9. Kidley
10. Mannah
11. Bird
12. Creagh
13. Gallen

14. Hinchcliffe
15. TLL
16. Galloway
17. Tolman

I think something like that could win it.

One really from left field here. James Maloney?

hahaa mate i mentioned the same thing on the previous page!

isnt he a parra junior? would have been a much better option then keating for city 5/8

is a tough little bastard who has a great running and kicking game. probably behind the 3 main contenders but not by much imo

Sorry mate i didn't see your post.

I think he is from Orange.

He is probably the toughest half in the game. He always looks like he has gave his all when he comes off the field. Head always seems to be bandaged.

I rate him highly.

Dugan not playing tonight - that takes him off the possibles list IMO

He needed a solid game tonight if he wanted to take the role of Hayne

1. Hayne - lock it in

With an infected boil. What the hell is that about? I don't want him anywhere near the NSW Origin side. It's pretty clear this guy has some serious mental issues with injuries. The getting up and having facials like you have snapped your leg? The magical nerve damage that no one can seem to find? Coming back on your own accord, with your invisible nerve damage magically cured, because Ricky said you needed to play City Country to be in with a shot for Origin? Thanks but no thanks.

1. Hayne
2. Gordon
3. Gasnier
4. Jennings
5. Uate

With you guys in the Maloney camp. He has got to be next in line after Mullen/Soward/Pearce. He brings biff, a nice if unspectacular kicking game and great support
play. He communicates well and leaves nothing on the field. I have no doubt he would relish a chance if he got one some day. Better than Keating & Wallace for sure. And just ahead of Hodkinson to for mine. NSW's fourth best half (w Carney out)
