Trouble with that line of thought shows Ricky has a history of going backwards the longer he stays

His fueds with half backs and his lack of ability to engineer improvement whilst blaming every other thing does not bode well for parra

When he joined the sharks I dismissed the criticisms of him by Easts fans as sour gapes

They were right and I was wrong

I hope for parras sake they get rid of him sooner rather than later

Having one of the Worst coaches in charge of the club in the most critical rugby league heartland in Australia, already under pressure from soccer and afl, were he pulls a marketing master stroke of announcing to the fans that they are going to see their team get wallopped each week and the players are second rate, is not likely to improve the fortunes of rugby league in general

It's got everything to do with it, just not the way your post implies. Offensively Parra's pack is ok, defensively it's the worst in the comp, and that comes down to an inability to control the ruck without conceding penalty after penalty.

It is the worst pack in the comp because they don't control the ruck, not that they don't control the ruck because they are the worst pack in the comp.
