Well apparently, Ivan was given the choice of our new 'Home Ground'. He choose Commbank which even before this season started was a place we didn't have a particularly good record at.

If there's 1 shining light harry armstrong played nsw cup today and scored a try, hopefully he progressers quickly and is fast tracked to 1st grade.

No home ground bites any team. The decision was made and we just have to live with it now.

How many weeks for To'o? Any chance for next week?

Not really because as our second best playmaker how can he play off the back of good ball if he's the only forward who can bend the line?
Every time Yeo gets the ball its on the back of shit

And the rare good time Nathan gets good ball its off the back of a Yeo hitup

Need Kenny for that. Schneider is too slow and Sommerton is too raw.

Nope not at all
We’ll see. I don’t mean the club’s survival is an issue but the high standards they worked hard to maintain can be lost very quickly due to complacency and we might be already seeing that happen. Unless this pathetic start by the First Grade team is just a blip or aberration which I fear it isn’t.
Poor crowds due to people not wanting to watch inept performances at a bogus home ground that belongs to the Blue & Gold filth, will do us no favours either.
It can be hard to get out mediocrity once you’ve made a habit of it.

He’s not our second best play maker, he’s not a “Top 5” half back. He’s a damaging runner who is a smart player who can pass.

He passes to the play makers to change the point of attack. When he tries to do more than that it becomes very untidy.

It’s very frustrating to watch.

It happens. My team had to spend 2 years playing out of Henson Park (1986 and 1987) until the original SFS was built, and then out fo the SCG when the current one was built. Its not fun, but Penrith are not the first one to go through it I'm afraid.

That was a god awful performance of which the only redeeming part was the equally god awful performance of the referee, which might serve to take some attention away from how bad we’re playing right now.

I’ve been going to games for 30 odd years and have never seen supporters of both teams completely confused by not just one but a stream of decisions across the course of a match. It’s farcical.

As for our performance I don’t know, but I fear, for all intents and purposes our year is done. The focus just has to be on improving week to week and seeing where that gets us. If it gets us to the 8, great, if it doesn’t then we roll whatever progress we make into next year and start next season from a stronger position.

I also feel there are some tough roster decisions to be made. As good as some, like Sorensen, have been for us there on the decline.

Putrid performance. The refereeing is horrific and it feels like we’ve just got the raw end of the spinny wheel to start games most years and then our crap edge defence means it’s too far gone by the time they start handing freebies out to us. Today we faced Manly completing at 100% with 9-1 penalties/six agains to start. Game over and it’s far too common.

You could go on about the negatives all night but that right edge looked a whole lot better once again. Tago ran with some real pepper. Having one broken edge is far better than two, particularly when you have the best defensive winger due back shortly. Significant progress towards turning the corner hopefully.

It has almost nothing to do with the 9. Our forwards are simply playing like little bitches.
The 9 giving poor service has a lot to do with them playing like bitches.

look at the metre difference with just a change of 9. The attacking opportunities that changed.

Extra time and space with the ball makes more difference that just about anything

Its just a gap-year, brought on by previous dedication to smug, the finest footballing era in modern league history.

Your season is pretty much a dumpster fire that cant be easily extinguished.

You need to balance your expectations.

Plus the dogs went down, thats some consolation for you.

The ref was well under par imho too.

Youll be Ok.

Very disappointing watch. Between our poor mistakes and head-scratching refereeing decisions the game was a very bad watch.

I still think we will scrape into the 8, but I am an optimist.
