Save your money...Trust me, just wait for it to come out on DVD. You'll thank me that day!

That is all...

the movie wasn't made to be a "knock out" like the first 2 or 3.

it was purposely made more low key and brought the movies back through a full circle to many of the themes in the first movie.

it requires a lot more patience than your typical Rocky flick but is a worthy finale to the saga.

I thought it was way too all over the place. I didn't go to see Rocky Balboa just so I could watch him relive all his past memories of the old films (and yes, he has many a flash-backs in this "epic"). If I wanted to watch his past, I'd hire out the old films. It moves soooo damn slowly.

And don't get me wrong, I looooove the Rocky series (except for the catastrophe that is Rocky V) but I wasn't down this too much at all. Now I'm near certain that the only reason this was made was because Stallone new he jacked things up so badly with Rocky V that he needed to redeem himself. Sort of like how Batman and Robin was so bad that they made Batman Begins (except that was good).

But I think the guy sitting in front of me summed up why people would like that movie best: "Well, that wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be."

(By the way, thanks too whoever fixed up that thread. I totally didn't see this one. Cheers!)

I was actually thinking that he may be having troubles getting ACTION character rolls these days in Hollywood as they are saying he is too old. So he wrote and made this movie as if to say ( Not only the message of this movie which is follow your heart rather than listen to people saying that you are too old ), BUT in REAL life he is actually ATTEMPTING to send a message to the hollywood filmmakers that " Hey, I am not over the hill quite yet !!.

It had its moments, like the father/son relationship, but overall it was very dissapointing.
Even Danny Green in todays Sun Herald said he will consider paying $10 to any person who thinks its a good movie.

Well, to him I'd say, "Don't quit your job!", but as a film critic, he makes an excellent boxer.
