Plenty more where that came from too!WELL DONE GUYS ON REACHING 1000 PAGES OF DRIVEL - HAHAHA!
This x 2 said much the same as you before .....I don't think Hunt should be calling the shots on team selections at all. He's part of the reason we signed McCullough for sure and look where that got us. He probably contributed to Norman's longevity over Amone too. Not that Hook's selection credentials are any better.
Tell me, what do we gain by putting an allegedly better defender (better than Bud - which I dispute) in at 6 ahead of Bud. It's not like we're going to make the 8 or do much this year anyway so why not use this year to bring through as many young guys as we can, get them some experience and we should start with Jayden Sullivan because our future depends on guys like him not Mbye and Bird and Hunt and players like Brodie effing Croft.
People can make all the excuses they want as to why Hunt's defence is the worst in the league, worse than all 400 + other nrl players doesn't do much for the team come game day does it. The real killer is that he's our best player, well attacking player anyway. Signing him for an extra 2 years will prove to be yet another Dragon's folly.
Win enough games early , your a better judge than me , I can't see it , but agree with the next 4 months after that ..... So do I think we will be improved from last year ? It's a No from me .....I reckon Mbye plays 6 for St Helen’s, Sullivan will play 6 for Charity Shield, then Bird will play 6 for Titans round 2.
From there, dragons will win enough games in the first six weeks for everyone to get excited again.
Then we will struggle to win a game for about 4 months.
I might be wrong but that’s how I see the season going.
With his dicky knees, Jack Bird will definitely be moving like one of the Walking Dead.At least we bust ourselves before the season starts. Giving ourselves time to get into peak condition.
At this rate bits are gonna start falling off. We'll come onto the field looking like an attack of the zombies.
I'm sure inadvertently you've just mentioned the number 6 on three occasions in relation to a problem we're having with our halves. We all know the significance of 666- a bad omen for 2023?I reckon Mbye plays 6 for St Helen’s, Sullivan will play 6 for Charity Shield, then Bird will play 6 for Titans round 2.

The problem also with this St Helens game is they have their eye on the World Cup game and will see this as just a warm up and wont want their best injured.I reckon Mbye plays 6 for St Helen’s, Sullivan will play 6 for Charity Shield, then Bird will play 6 for Titans round 2.

Surely falls is an optionAll this carry on about only having 25 players and somehow 5 vacancies unfilled is just bullshit.
We have 27 signed and 3 vacancies.
We need to have a minimum of 29 signed and can keep 1 vacancy for later in the season.
It is neither the clubs or coaching staff's fault that Amone is stood down and Ramsey is suffering from a rare and extremely difficult condition.
So let's be honest in how this is reported rather than going crook at the club about things out of our control.
If we are given cap relief for Amone & Ramsey then again it is neither the club's or coaching staffs fault that there is slim pickings to choose from as the circumstances surrounding Amone and Ramsey were unforeseen and not of the clubs timing.
How did he go?Unfortunate to see young Shalom O'Ofou go to the Broncos. Played in their trial against Wynnum today.
Wishing him all the best though
You misunderstood me Kit. I think Bud will be starting as soon as he's fit enough to do so and I expect Hunt will be pushing for that as well. My point was that Hunt is talking to the media and just taking some pressure off Bud's return date by talking about Bird. I only think that will happen if Bud's not ready fitness-wise.I don't think Hunt should be calling the shots on team selections at all. He's part of the reason we signed McCullough for sure and look where that got us. He probably contributed to Norman's longevity over Amone too. Not that Hook's selection credentials are any better.

Had high hopes for him after watching his highlights reel in the red v, hard to think he will get game time over the broncos forwards should have stayedUnfortunate to see young Shalom O'Ofou go to the Broncos. Played in their trial against Wynnum today.

Apparently very well! I didn't get to watch, but the match reports mentioned that a lot of tries came off the back of his hard work. We need some hard working forwards, and we just got rid of one....How did he go?
I agree, would have loved for him to have stayed as he's clearly got plenty of talent and potential. But we really did a bit of a shoddy job with his development it seems. I hope he finds his feet in first grade, even if it be at the donkeys.Had high hopes for him after watching his highlights reel in the red v, hard to think he will get game time over the broncos forwards should have stayed
Slap on the wrist job for those two. If one was a Dragons players - suspension for 5 games.Jack Wighton and Latrell Mich too many schooners last night in Civic.
Jack Wighton has form in getting into altercations at NightclubsJack Wighton and Latrell Mich too many schooners last night in Civic.
Makes you wonder if there was a scuffle (friendly wrestle between the 2) and the cops were called at the time of the scuffle.Jack Wighton and Latrell Mich too many schooners last night in Civic.
X 3 from me. I actually rate Ben Hunt as one of the best defensive halves in the comp. Stats can be manipulated to justify any stupid argument. Every coach in the NRL is going to be running their gorillas at the halves so of course there will be missed tackles. The difference is the smart coaches surround their halves with good quality forwards who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty. This x 2 said much the same as you before .....
