Totally understand about Sele and Garrick. Both are replaceable.

After reading the Rugby league gospel "The Daily telegraph" maybe it is McInnes is the shock player we offload as Hunt wants to move to hooker as he has been thinking about that as his best position going forward. Even his wife agrees...... So then we may be talking to another big half. Biggest names in rugby league may be available as another half....?. Corey Norman..Matt Frawley, Ryley Jacks or Cooper Cronk (2020), Todd Carney, Blake Austin, Jack Bird, Sean O Sullivan, Kodi Nikorima..LOL. A lot to choose from

My problem is that I have no faith in SGI's judgement of talent. Mary said that he finally had the team that he wanted when he landed Ben Hunt. On overall performances in 2018, we have paid (reportedly) over $1million per season for a half back who would not rank in the top 8 NRL half backs. I would put Thurston, Cronk, Pearce, Reynolds, Townsend, Cherry-Evans, Cleary and Johnson ahead of him- Comment?

Totally agree. Hunt is the biggest waste of money I can remember in the close to the 50 years I have been following my beloved Dragons.

When are we going to produce another quality half instead of having to import them. Last decent halves we had were decades ago in Slippery Morris and Perry Haddock.

Why Rene? One of the best finishers in the game. We can ill afford to have big, fast and powerful outside backs leave us. Aitken for a former Junior Kangaroo has been a massive failure.

I hope the other player is Dufty. This bloke has pace, pace and pace.. nothing else..nothing between the ears. Spends most of his time running around like a headless chook. Has no ball skills and makes the most fundamental of errors.

Just a word on the deplorable non selection of JBD for the Kangaroos. If the SOO is for no other reason than from which to choose a national team, then JDB has been done a great disservice. He outplayed McGuire the bloke that now keeps the lock position.. tho he does not deserve to. Most of the pundits had Jack in their squads. Another kick in the guts for the best defensive backrower in our game.

Also, for the 100th time he’s not on over a million, Milward has said he’s no where near that.

Disagree about no ball skills. He definately can pass, kick and reads play very well in attack.
Only needs to fix his defence, he’s a great little player that will only improve.

He is injured with ankle etc, unavailable for selection.
