Had to be for conduct. His football ability specially as a finisher was first rate. A question mark perhaps over his positional defence. But there was also this against Gypsy and we held onto him for his entire career.
You're talking about the wrong McDonald's, those posts are about a board member

Gypsy wasn't suspect in defence his whole career though. By the time he became suspect, he was a legend and probably warranted an extra year or so based on the long services cap relief

Nightingale should have been moved on 3 years ago. It was embarrassing seeing what he was doing to his legacy

Can’t believe Gallen mouthing off saying Holmes should never be allowed back into the nrl, sour grapes by a dick head.

If a person wants to step out of their comfort zone, take on a challenge and aim for a dream, well good on them I say.

Gallen needs to shut up and just retire
Yep, same dick head that had his employer (Sharks) allow him to pursue boxing.

I just hope that nobody suggest that the Dragons are after Cameron Smith .

Oops ! :zipper_mouth:

I'd rather get the wooden spoon than have that piece of pure scum wear the famous red V.

I've always thought he was and still is, the dirtiest player in our (edited - current ) game, for as long as he's played the game. He is a very good player but a very dirty player who as stated by himself, will do whatever it takes, to win a game.

Sportsmanship has nothing to do with it.

OKB,
I am not sure about "the dirtiest player in the game" but certainly there is a massive contrast between his willingness to flaunt the laws and berate the referees compared to his favourable public image which his media mates have done so much to advance. I often believe that the so-called "tall poppy syndrome" is justified because the tall poppies do not deserve their high status. I used to think Billy Slater was the master of the cheap shot but believe Smith in latter years has outdone Billy.

Yes it is certainly getting close to the festive season - Dragonsteve 2 and OKB1 . I take it that you fellas will be sending Xmas cards to the sod again this year ?

True that, Gareth67.

In fact, I was feeling in such a good pre-Xmas mood, I had the generous idea of giving him twice as much as last year.

He's one l prepared early............ with my old mate Winston, demonstrating.
