Yes it is certainly getting close to the festive season - Dragonsteve 2 and OKB1 . I take it that you fellas will be sending Xmas cards to the sod again this year ?
Gareth,
The only sort of greeting I would want to send him would be that which only big Jeremy L could deliver. After all wasn't that the reason that Lattmore's contract was extended?

This ticks me off

We renewed Allgood’s
Hame Sele signs with the Panthers.
1yr with 1yr option

This really ticks me off. We renewed Allgood and Lats contract but saw no value in Sele.

Sele is a fringe first grader who will improve.

Allgood and Lats are on par or worse.

Best of luck Hame.

Don’t be silly man ! I have it on good authority that it was his good looks why the Dragons resigned him , besides his obvious ability with marbles .

Could have come down to $ , Allgood $80k, Sele $100+ , maybe that extra $20-50k is used for someone else, or Allgood Prop , Sele Lock/Backrow maybe the club thinks we have enough depth, but again im surprised we didnt sign him up as well

On the subject of rumours, did anyone hear on 2SM earlier today (apparently) that Saints have lost one individual (Sele?) but have replaced him with a “big name” player?

Probably just that Saint_JimmyG - a player that has a big name .

I always thought Sele was a good prospect but what does the player and club think about his opportunity?

Sele is not a prop, so no comparison to Latimore or Allgood and this year Sele struggled to defend with two props as a lock, when he should really be the best defender of the three middle spots off the bench. Mann became a better option and then Lawrie went past him too.

KSims could also play the minutes to cover that role if necessary, but it depends on what kind of minutes De Belin plays. The other wrinkle is that Robson and McInnes could be on the field together.

Penrith made more sense for Sele than Cronulla, so I’m glad he got some good advice. Penrith released players like CHN, Merrin, Peachey and a few more from ISP.

Just saw Tyson Frizzell, seemed to be limping pretty bad, did he an operation or anything in the off-season?
He was injured in that Souths game (lower limb) I think and would not of made the Roosters the week after had we got through. Not sure....Samy might know later in the week but think he did have some sort of surgery........I hope..now it is clear as mud

Tyson had a lot of trouble with lower back as well.
It could be that but as far as I know he will be ready for the beginning of the year.
But will let you know if I find out anything
