After yesterdays game against the Titans, the Couchman boys are my first priorities to lock up before bringing in any forwards from any club. These boys are our future. 6 year deals on 650k a year should do it.

A bit generous! Did you resign Amone @ Bud !Think we can stitch up a resign for no more than a mill.

A comparison of Blockers stats between 2023 and 2024:

Games: 22 / 18
Tackle breaks: 47 / 21
Total run metres: 2972 / 1762
Post contact metres: 919 / 625
Average running metres: 135 / 97
Tackles: 680 / 433
Offloads: 10 / 3
Missed tackles: 43 / 30

He’s down in every category in last year and is not alone with an average of less than 100 metres. It shows how much we need the alpha prop.

This would all correlate to his minutes. Last year everyone was fat and unfit. This year with a proper system in place better players are fitter and Blake has topped out.

Shows how bad things were.

My source has stated to me that Reagan Campbell Gillard recently moved out to Camden and wants to stay in Sydney

Only us and the Cowboys have offered him both 2 year deals

He has resigned to the fact he will not get a 3 year and RCG has also informed Parramatta he will be leaving

A decision is expected by the end of the week but I’d say that Reagan Campbell Gillard will be a Dragon in 2025

All makes sense, if Dogs/Tigers arent in.. then its really just us by the sounds of it.. 2yrs is the right amount at his age, need to keep him motivated.. and our young boys will be firing by then.

Not 100% sure about him, but his stats are probably the best of the 3.. gets thru big minutes too. Assume we arent nitpicking the amount parra pay in 2025.. unless were paying it all.

Parramatta initially said they weren’t gonna pay anything , but maybe Flanno has pulled there arm as they were unable to offload Ryan Matterson and Shaun Lane which has made them desperate to free up cap space

Camden re RCG
Approx 45mins to Kogarah and Wollongong

2year offer would be about right for RCG vs our guys coming through and what we need now

tigers could still jump ahead with a MO for year 3 and of pay more $ which they did with Jerome and Taruva etc recently.

So moving on Rava and not Blake ? to make it happen for bringing on board a second prop ?

Regarding a second prop , it’s either moving Ravalawa or Lawrie which ever one they can get rid of first

Move on Rava first then buy Safiti, then Lawrie will go because he won’t see first grade being bottom of the pecking order.

Bird needs to go to the super league, then we can sign another outside back and half.

If we can move on three players we will have a much improved roster next year.

If RCG fills our last spot. We will need to release 3 players (lawrie, ravalawa and ?) to bring in Saifiti and resign Eisenhuth and Feagai. Reports have stated that we are in talks to resign both players so will we essentially have to open up 3 spots to get them all done.

Chammas on the Footy Show spoke about this last night.
He also mentioned the Tigers are looking at Horsburgh.
Sounds like we will know either way what RCG is doing for 2025 very soon as it is highly unlikely he will be staying at the Eels.

but then how do they fit in Eisenhuth and Max Feagai?

Theyd have to move on more than just one of them. Surely Fifita is getting tapped.

Also need to move Ramsey out of top 30. Flano has indicated we need another half for depth and he loves keeping a free spot in the top 30 for a just in case.

I think we will just aim to lock up a prop (hopefully) then figure out the rest..

Its difficult for Tom & Max, but I dont 'think' they have other offers to rush off too.. could be wrong.. but we might not be able to offer them a contract until post-season holiday... when we successfully manage to move on other players.

I do think that the halves coverage is more important than extending Eisenhuth though.. that would be my priority because 1 halves injury and we are in strife (Bird could be a temporary solution, but lets see how he goes in weeks to come), but in terms of a 13, couchies or sele could manage that.

I find it slightly odd that Tom Dearden was a target we went super hard for... and then after we missed him we decided we don't need to buy a half at all?
