RCG may be a good mentor for the young guys, and a fill in until the younger guys are fully ready. As long as we don’t stifle or block those younger guys. Resigning Couchmen is a higher priority, but I believe we can do both and find the perfect harmony in signings and retention

No doubt now they will all have a condo on the gold coast, new cars etc, but we will hear that Walker decided to stay at the rorters for less money because he loves the club. Chammas on Triple M earlier today said that while the Dragons have offered a formal 2 year deal to RCG, the sticking point still seems to be the player wanting a 3 year deal.
One noticeable thing in his report was he only mentioned the Dragons as the club persuing RCG.

I think RCG will just have to accept a 2 year deal at his age, no other club offering anything and we certainly shouldn't be offering any more than 2 years, we have juniors to look after as our priority.

Let's revisit this in 12 months time before talking about supposed missed opportunities. He's done absolutely nothing in his short career so far except get headlines for the wrong reasons. Leopards rarely change their spots.

one of those numerous articles last week indicated RCG had made his decision and we would know by friday.. but maybe it was just speculation...

But if he is leaving (and seemingly 1 club will pick him up) they may aswell use this last home game as a farewell.
