Come on Sammy, you don't have dinner with an opposition coach unless you are considering your options. No idea who arranged the dinner but there is obviously interest from both parties.

He will have plenty of interest but he is not going anywhere. He just being smart seeing what's out there so that when he needs to negotiate he know his worth.

Hope you're right, but realistically what can we offer a young bloke? You will be chucked around the backline to accommodate the senior players. You will be scapegoated when the team loses. You won't be playing finals footy in the next few years and a grand final appearance is right out of the question. You won't be learning new skills. You will forget skills you had like catching because no-one will pass it to you.

Unless you leave early from this shambles you could be ruining your career.

Lomax has outplayed Aitken in his limited appearances this year, Lomax knows this, yet stupidity is the current coach and will continue playing Lomax outside a seemingly inferior player. The reality is that Aitken is an Origin class player that had rock solid defence could out guile the best backs in the business overpower anyone in front of him and cause an attack to compress due to his presence but all that has been corrupted by a clueless non coach that happens to be an ex Australian player in Aitkens position, Aitken has done what any young up and comer worth his salt would do and that is work on and implement what his ex Australian centre coach has imbued upon him and the results are there for all to see. Our left side is now a target. As for Lafai, wow, this bloke could dodge raindrops, can offload in a sweat box, the best short kicking game of any centre in the world, attracts defenders like flies to shit, yet seldom has support runners when 99% of the time when he has the ball there is a gaping hole that he just created out of nothing. All in all we have a squad capable of beating any team.
This coach is something else, literally, something other than the title on his desk and payslip suggests. Selfish f**kwit comes to mind but that isn’t actually a job title, just a description of what once was a man.

Actually Roosters found another achilles heel..they attacked Lafai's side most of the night...rested Latrell...just for something different

However IF the dinner did take place one could place their last dollar on the fact that they were not discussing the weather - eh ? It certainly would had been about footy and just how much spare dough that the Tigers had in their piggy bank.

Madge would want to beat the rorters to the punch . Mary would not be in the equation at all as young Lomax isn’t stupid and can see that his future doesn’t lie with a coach whom can not help him advance his career any further. IF the dinner did take place that is . . . .

Plenty of players consider leaving clubs but then things change and the decide to stay. Things like change coaches.
