Couldnt see the Chooks covering some freight
Love or hate them , they are the best operators in the Business and they know when to keep them and know when to release them
Would tread warily
Yes, they know their best before's and use by's and expiry's and before they finish with them have others lined up. Their business acumen knows no bounds. Out goes the old and in comes the new and bugger the cost.

I would have both Creighton and Hargraves.
I believe Hargrves has been the best Front Rower for the past 5yrs or so.
Also i think he would still have something to offer on a two year deal.
JWH was, not anymore even coming from a bench. He is the 1st one they would let go.
There a re rumours anyway Chrichton wants to go back to rugby
I would take Keary but how old is he now and how is his body holding up
Good reasons why those names have been thrown or rumoured even if they dont sign Munster, Haas is their target

Munster to one day join his friend the Cheese and Cronk will be there to show him around? Haas, he could very well be in the picture too. When the Roosters go on a shopping spree we all know what are in the bags.

This year isn't going to be a year they have been used to, but the next few years it will all change and Robbo will be ecstatic again is my prediction. Just ask Uncle Nic.

As I said -
"This year isn't going to be a year they have been used to, but the next few years it will all change and Robbo will be ecstatic again is my prediction. Just ask Uncle Nic."

The Roosters will go through a phase in 2022 as they did in 2015, but not as bad by coming second last in that year.

Just copied and pasted this excerpt from Foxsports News on Jacob Liddle being shopped by the Tigers to Dragons and Raiders. Worth considering?

TIGERS SHOP LIDDLE TO RIVALS

The Wests Tigers are reportedly shopping out of favour dummy-half Jacob Liddle to rival clubs.

The 25-year-old has fallen behind Jake Simpkin in the No.9 pecking order in recent weeks.

Liddle suffered a PCL injury during the club’s final trial match, which allowed Simpkin to stake his claim as the club’s future hooker.

Now, with a number of dummy-half options and the arrival of Apisai Koroisau in 2023, the Tigers are reportedly looking to move Liddle on.

“Jacob Liddle is the player, Wests Tigers hooker, he can’t get a start at the moment, stuck behind Jake Simpkin, he was named in the reserves this week and Magic Round,” The Daily Telegraph’s David Riccio said on Triple M Breakfast.

“It is the St George Illawarra Dragons and the Raiders that have been offered Jacob Liddle.

“Both clubs are stretched in that position, the dummy-half area, Liddle has been very much a part of the Tigers fabric since 2016, he is a 25-year-old he has come through their system.

“But keep an eye on this one.”

Would probably be not a bad buy at the right $ and if he is medically sound, could be a good thing for next season with young Mulheisen at 14.

As Hunt will not be used as hooker, we need a back up hooker which Macca will be and either Muhleisen or Liddle , if we get him, to be the 9 next year. Liddle does show merit and although Simpkin is ahead of him at the Tigers, he won't be needed when Koroisau joins the Tigers next year.

Robinson reportedly recruited Flanagan as the Roosters long-term Cronk replacement but soon decided he wasn't the answer. Didn't muck around and next thing Sam Walker is on board. We have a guy (Bud) to replace Hunt who is potentially world class- he just needs to get his body right and then be given an opportunity.

As much as we have toned down our Norman, Hunt, Dugan type huge contracts , the McCulloch , Debellin & Lomax payments are certainly not giving the club value for money .I guess every side has this issue ( except Melbourne & Penrith go figure ) but shows up the value of a coaching group that can get maximum value out of every player .

Hargreaves would become a penalty magnet should he leave the chooks . How the man has gotten away with the crap that he has up to now is simply unbelievable .

As to Creighton , he is a good solid player no doubt , however of late he seems to have gone off the boil , but perhaps a change of scenery will be beneficial to him .

Keary - as Dragon David has said , is only one knockout away from becoming punch drunk . A good little player whom is is paired with a live-wire half in Sam Walker .

Unfortunately for Luke he is a bit slower nowadays whereas Walker can create opportunities out of thin air . I dare say that Robinson realizes this and the rorters are very quick to to replace players that are not performing at their peak .

Would not surprise me to see this rumour confirmed and all three find themselves on the market at seasons end , either to sign to sign that bloke from Sin City way down South , Payne Hass or even Willie Nelson ( I hear that uncle Nick is a big fan of Wille ! ) 🤔

I thought Liddle went alright last year, his team was a bit ordinary but he put in some really good performances I thought. Beat us twice. I'd give him a shot in place of McC for sure. If he can stay fit he should be coming into his best years of his career.

Liddle would be another reject. He has quite a bit of zip but he doesn't have the defence like Macca's. We should just stick with Mulheisen.
