Now that's interesting. In many organisations, an employee rises in the hierarchy through promotion, assuming they show competence in each position, until they reach a level of relative incompetence. In other words, continual within organisation promotion may lead to people ultimately promoted to positions for which they have no aptitude or ability. This is known as Peter's Principle.100% failed at EVERY role has with the club yet we stupidly kept giving him roles within the club.

He can also add to his list of failures since he arrived in NSW and Parramattas camp.
In our organisation, McGregor showed incompetence at each step, but continued to get promoted.
This phenomenon is known as "Mary's Principle"- the situation where an employee rises in the hierarchy, despite incompetence at each level but demonstrates the ability to be a good bloke to have a beer with, until they reach their level of quintessential incompetence.
