100% failed at EVERY role has with the club yet we stupidly kept giving him roles within the club.

Strength & Conditioner Trainer FAIL
Assistant Coach FAIL
Head Coach FAIL

No wonder he was the first flicked when Bennett arrived.

He can also add to his list of failures since he arrived in NSW and Parramattas camp.
Now that's interesting. In many organisations, an employee rises in the hierarchy through promotion, assuming they show competence in each position, until they reach a level of relative incompetence. In other words, continual within organisation promotion may lead to people ultimately promoted to positions for which they have no aptitude or ability. This is known as Peter's Principle.

In our organisation, McGregor showed incompetence at each step, but continued to get promoted.

This phenomenon is known as "Mary's Principle"- the situation where an employee rises in the hierarchy, despite incompetence at each level but demonstrates the ability to be a good bloke to have a beer with, until they reach their level of quintessential incompetence.

Similar to McFlop, you have to wonder how the guy can put his hand out for his pay each week. Like what does he actually do in his 38 hour working week? Genuine question.
One rumour is that Millward and Flanno meet up for coffee very regularly to discuss what they MIGHT be doing to fulfil their KPIs, or perhaps what they COULD be doing to improve the club overall, but they usually decide to meet again for coffee at a later date to further discuss possible future avenues of endeavour. Both go home feeling smug that they are earning their pay check! This is just a rumour I hasten to add!

Rumour that negotiation talks with Amone & Hunt going well. Telegraph intermating that Hunts 2 ( or was it 3 ? ) year renewal is to play 7 and not 9. I hope this is not true and there is a succession plan for bud , as we will lose him if not. I also hope the club hasn't left this entirely to Hook because we all know who his favourites are. Also resign both, Hook is sacked and what does the new coach do ? My opinion is we offer Hunt 6-700k 2 year renewal to play 7 & 9 to bring Bud on , and if he doesn't like it we use this contract money to sign the best available 9 out there.

Hunt will not play 9 on a permanent basis even if he is re-signed. He may occasionally go to dummy half in a game, but that's about all we will see of him as a 9.
Yes, Hunt plays 9 for QLD, but it must be remembered that those games are spread over several weeks, not the week after week grind that is the NRL. Hunt is 32yrs old and will be 33 early next season. I will make this comment, that Macca is 2 months older than Hunt, yet we say he's too old and slow, maybe, just maybe, the weekly grin does get too much once you are exposed to it week after week.
Bud is contracted until 2025, he really can't be spoken to until 2024. A lot of water to pass under the bridge until then. Yes, he may request an early release, but that would have to be granted, which, given the succession plan, that won't happen. He also needs to build up his body, as does Sloan for that matter.
Junior is doing ok at 6, but somehow, I see him transforming into the forwards as time progresses, hence opening the door for Bud. Both, however, do need to improve their defense.
We are actively seeking another hooker. There is no guarantee that young Muhleisen will kick on to 1st grade, then we have some younger 9's playing JF, which show plenty of promise.

That is what Flanagan was hired for. Not just on Hook

Doesn't want to play hooker FULL TIME then piss him off IMMEDIATELY.
