would love to see saints try to get tristan sailor back into the red v biggest problem being his old man, but he would solve our 5/8 and backup fullback problem.

If Cory Alan was not injured he would of solved a few problems we have at the moment and gave us a few more options ........ Does he come back any time this year ?????????

Dragons extend Francis Molo for two seasons

The Dragons are pleased to announce the re-signing of front-rower Francis Molo for a further two seasons.
The new deal will keep the 29-year-old in the Red V until at least the end of the 2026 season.
“Francis is thoroughly deserving of this extension given the way he has bought into where we are going as a team,” said Dragons Head Coach Shane Flanagan.

“He has worked hard throughout the pre-season and I believe his best years are ahead of him as a player.
“I am looking forward to him playing a pivotal role in our forward pack as we continue to build the roster over the coming months.”
Molo has so far played 42 games for the Dragons since joining the club ahead of the 2022 season.

Jak, when you say solve our 5/8 problem, are you saying KF is a problem? Or thinking KF will move to 7 next year and Hunt leave therefore we need a 5/8?
no i think kf is going well, but he could also be the second hooker we need.

Honestly would have thought he’d be one to move on. Yes he is a powerful prop, and we need powerful props but for a very well paid player he spends a lot of time on the sidelines for suspensions. Guess I’ll just back the coach on this one if he says he fits the vision.

Front rowers are at a premium right now. There aren’t many good ones on the market. Molo had a bunch of suitors. Might not set the world on fire but is a good player and hood resigning for the club. Another player that griffin handbraked during his time

I'm happy with the extension of Frank Molo's contract for another 2 years. He isn't "marquee" but he does his job the way that Flanno has him doing and he has improved his body shape and fitness and will continue to be an integral part of the squad moving forward.

Hopefully Flanno changes this. Flanno left the Sharks in a good state and the players stayed, not many left to join other clubs and the juniors were coming through. Price, Mary and Hook destroyed the Dragons after Wayne left.

So far all the junior teams are going well in their comps so that is a good start in a short time.
