For some reason fans here get these hard and fast... 'rusted on' opinions around players like Sailor or Taaffe (2 that are currently relevant).... its like there is no scenario where these young players who are/were stuck behind world class marquees... could possibly improve beyond reserve grade status if given a little game time and coaching.

I could have sworn a 3yr offer had been made to Tristan last week.. I cant find the source though.. you'd think our club is the most likely to result in 1st grade honours for a fringe fullback.. but given the timing off the spray from his dad, that is sounding incredibly unlikely.

Shocking performance tonight. There are so many negatives about this team - too many to list. However, the most frightening is comparing our spine to the Tigers. They have a class hooker, a boom fullback, potentially a classy 5/8 and are getting another gun 5/8 possibly half in Jerome Lui.
We have a non 80m hooker, a soft fullback, an average 5/8 and a fading 1/2.

Ravalawa is one dimensional very predictable in general play. His weaknesses outweigh his strengths. It was a lousy performance by the team in general last night.

Just watched the Warriors put the cleaners through the Rabbitohs 34-4. The Warriors will be a force this year. They all looked muscled up and strong. We had Ford who scored a try and he has excelled under Webster their coach. Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad is a solid fullback in more ways than one. He is the type that we need - tallish, strong, heavier, fast, muscular and is good at tackling close to or on the tryline.

Just my observations.

Jason Demetriou will not be at Souths long I don't think. Another coach following the trail of Wayne Bennett.

Just watched the Warriors put the cleaners through the Rabbitohs 34-4. The Warriors will be a force this year. They all looked muscled up and strong. We had Ford who scored a try and he has excelled under Webster their coach. Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad is a solid fullback in more ways than one. He is the type that we need - tallish, strong, heavier, fast, muscular and is good at tackling close to or on the tryline.

Just my observations.

Jason Demetriou will not be at Souths long I don't think. Another coach following the trail of Wayne Bennett.

With all those marquee players latrell, Cameron, Cody, etc, it is obvious that Demetriou has lost the respect of the playing group. Otherwise South is a top 4 team under an average coach. Once that happens the club has to let the coach go. It has happened twice with us recently Mary and Hook.
