I'm honestly really glad im a dragons fan, great to see that people actually show love to the game of rugby league and nrl.

I became a fan half way through last year, my dads been a fan for 40+ years before we merged and Im so happy that im part of the club, sadly i live down in melbourne and as nice as i like afl I love my rugby league more. I really hope we play melbourne again down here.

Roger Whitakker was a great performer. It would have been awesome to have seen him live OT.

Back in the day the Taj put on some great shows.

The 1st time I saw him Roger he was the main support act to Neil Sedaka.

Sedaka made a big boo boo and sang his top 2 or 3 songs at the beginning of his show and after he finished them the crowd started calling out for Roger to come back on but fair to say the crowd was more the cardigan, scarf wearing type rather than the bobby socks rock n roll crowd.

The Big O. Sorely missed. So good old Roy the Boy. The Taj did get the good ones there to go with good food and the grog and of course better footy results in general.

Plenty of great head line acts played at the Taj and their concerts would be over a few days ofter including a Sat or Sun matinee show.

The line up to get tickets when bookings opened would be out the foyer and into the car park before the club opened its doors for the day.

I can remember Dad leaving me in the line one day while he went over for a hair cut at the barber shop that used to be inside the club.

Welcome to the forum Jack. Like you my 2 children follow Saints because their Dad and Mum do. It is in our blood! I am also really looking forward to next year with great improvements to our team.

His skills were unbelievable , one certainly received value for money when watching him perform !

There was one song in particular that I always enjoyed , unfortunately memory fails me yet again , however it was about the homecoming of a ship at sea .
