Bunty afoa, wouldn't break the bank either just throwing it out there he isn't bad for short stints
Any prospective signings now hinge on the decision made at the Storm
Paps being offered serious coin to head to dogs and or Sharks
IF they decide to keep him Faulogo and or Wishart likely to be moved on
An early exit from Welch would assist greatly the Storm into topping up at least two of the three
So best not to go hard now for Welch unless Flanno does have a Half in mind
Sharks chasing Volkman doesnt seem to make much sense unless Atkinson is agitating for a release..
More than Handy Pick up
Then we could look at Welch Afoa or Pole from the Tigers
The Lodge ( bunnies) and Thompson (knights) are now less likely

If Saints can get Klemmer for 400k (Tigers to throw in 300k, which I am sure they would) I think it may be a good decent buy. Maybe also offer to take Welch off the Storm for similar cash as they may also tip in for that. 2 decent props for 800k.

Now that would be Hook's way of thinking and blocking guys like Couchman's from game time. hence why Saints are in a bad spot. Stay away from these used by cheapies and look at good talent or up and comers. Flanno needs to bring in a guy that is better than what they have and if that is not possible make what he has better in the off season.

Flanno not rushing for a half for good reason and he can see something brewing and teams scrambling like the Storm and Sharks to make room in the cap so he can keep their star players. The same may happen for a prop. Flanno threw a hand grenade with Hunt into the feeding frenzy to see what may also come up.
