I believe that Lodge is on his way to the wabbitts , he and Bennett have been in talks over the last 2 weeks .

Hope that hewi’s rumour becomes a reality , perhaps another younger forward who can give the Big Red V some grit in defence and attack .

Brandon Smith on the bye round podcast was pretty open about having spoken to other teams and not the cowboys. Said he wants to stay in Sydney. Also said he wants to stay at roosters. A really odd interview.

I remember when he was coming through at the Cowboys and he was very highly though of as he seemed to dominate everyone, except for a certain Reece Robson. Nek Minute!!

Matt Lodge lives on the Northern Beaches with his wife & 4 kids . He bought the home end of 2022 and was reported recently that he still trains independently with Jake Trbjovic.

It would be a lot easier for him commuting to Maroubra than the Gong.

I believe that person will be LPT next year Gareth, regardless if we get someone or not.

Yep, certainly big wraps on the LPT (Lofty Powered Tonga). He is young but has the capabilities of playing in the NRL so I'd pick him as a benchy sometime next year mainly for the experience.
