I thought that he was playing so well that at his rate of improvement -he would one day be considered for immortal status.
Then he goes to the bulldogs and his game stutters and he’s never got it back to where it was going.
The way I see the game, in rare cases, some players should stay where they are ( even forget about more money) if they are getting a massive net benefit from their coach and club environment. He was in that category.
Under that theory, Zac should have stayed to continue golden era footy and also keep improving.
When flanno was self-praising his decision to put him on the wing, he also attributed the success to Zacs own efforts.
That was a balanced and appropriate gesture. Despite the impasse, he gave a bit.
