I suspect that it is complicated because if deemed serious mental health challenges for Molo then the NRL and Dragons will be bound to handle this situation like any employer.
1. Molo will remain employed ie contracted and can use his sick leave
2. That probably means the Dragons will have to retain his top30 NRL spot so a return to work can happen in the future. Yet the complication is no doubt how long the Dragons and or NRL have keep the spot open given his contract to the club end of 2026.
3. If the above two scenarios are deemed legally and medically correct next ……. well my best guess is that the Dragons are either stuck with FMolos contract in the cap like they would if FMolo had done his ACL and is in recovery………and or will have to settle in some sort of capacity ………which will be difficult also
