Klemmer was ommited from todays NSW cup match for the Tigers

He reports that the Francis Molo situation will drag out but the club has identified other players to move on which from what I’ve heard will be Lawrie to the Tigers and M Molo to England

Ravalawa is another option who may leave sooner rather than later has he was not picked for NSW cup but is not injured

I doubt the Lawrie one, but if MMolo is sorted, that gives us breathing space to sort out the FMolo crap.. if were determined to squeeze everything out of Franks new side.. then we will be in a position to do so when were not worried about Klemmer any more.

Carryannis on the ABC said the F Molo situation appears to have stagnated with no progress being made between the parties.

He did not elaborate on any of the ongoing issues.

Was not confident of the Klemmer deal getting done based on this.

He made no mention of the status of either M Molo or Lawrie.

At this point we just need to Francis Molo to be released getting rid of another middle really hurts us now Couchman will be gone for the year.

I found the source of that Brent Read quote.. he says he "expects" Klemmer to happen.. he wasnt committing to anything sadly.. there are really 4 other players in MMolo/Lawrie/Fifita/Rava that we would be wanting to move on..

And if we needed any extra incentive to get it done.. I would say Ryan out for the year, a possible Guler suspension and we still dont know how Jack and Toby pulled up.. I would say getting Klemmer onboard by Tuesday morning is now mission critical.. if he doesnt make the team list I dont think we can play him.

Difference was Allen wasn't contracted beyond 2024, so we just paid out that contract and then signed him for 2025.. Ryan is contracted next year so that loophole doesn't work

Looks like management have decided to make an example of Francis Molo

Molo willing to repay his salary but club wants compensation over and above the money

Should be resolved soon. Club won’t pay Molo any further funds.

If a QLD club has been involved in causing the discontent it may be time for them to stump up a player or a transfer fee.

My two cents.

Fine with Dragons not giving in here to what appears to be a selfish act on Molo's part. Players like this only have money and personal interests at heart.

Hopefully if Klemmer arrives he can help us in the engine room. It's far from a fair 'exchange' despite the fact Frank has put in very little in his time with us.

The sooner it's over the better.

I'm waiting for someone to tell us again how we might have missed out by signing Flanagan over Ryles. Maybe the big, swollen-headed boofhead should have started his coaching career at a lower level like every other NRL coach.
