From memory this happened when we signed Tariq Sims the condition of his early release was he couldn't play against Newcastle that year.

Ehh personally I’d have the exact opposite and mandate that he plays against us. While he may have been our best prop, he is not exactly good and a small body. I’d rather him occupy that bench spot over one of the massive Va’a brothers. Also, if I was a dragons player, I’d be pissed at the way he’s handled things, so a bit of fire in the belly to get in his face could create that desire to smash their forward pack

It just occurred to me that Bennett may try to turn Rava into a utility forward, like he has done with Aitken. Altho I doubt it is possible.

He used to be such a weapon. Not that long ago either. I wonder what on earth has happened with him? Wayne will get the best out of him. Hate to say this but Flannos style obviously wasn't a good match for him as he looks sad lately. Rav used to be such a joyful player, loved doing his tackles.

Doesnt mean Rava outside Cody Walker wont look brilliant in attack.......probably will

Rava lets in too many yet counters with strike and tries

Guessing having Sloan on emerging FB money - maybe $400k pa plus and Rava on $400k pa approx is just too much for what you get just now.........vs other options and the balance of the cap

Sloan has to stay as FB cover which is integral.............vs the cover for Rava is solid enough

Watch Rava get back to his best form again as he will be allowed to tackle like he used to without getting suspended. The NRL did a good job destroying poor Rava. Never was the same. Wearing a different jersey will hopefully make him less of a target.

Taylan May will end up at the Tigers. You can see this a mile away. They will get Olam medically retired and have Taylan slip right in using Olam's money. He will be with his brother Terrell and mates Api, Luia and Turuuva.

Poor Tigers will lose Galvin to Eels like they did Mitch Moses. Poor Tigers, as soon as they get a star in the halves, the Eels pounce on them. Galvin an big Parra fan and played juniors for the Eels. Then Tigers got him and now I am sure he will go back.

If Saints release the Molo's and Rava that is 3 spots. Klemmer and I assume Halangahu will take 2. 1 more spot. I would seriously target a backup half. Te Marie Martin at the Warriors as he was in reserve grade. Metcalf and Tavita Harris are there 1st choice. I would throw money at him. He is a good solid half and will put pressure on Illias and Flanno. feel he is better than both of them.

Not sure on the Frank side of things.. it sounds like were really trying to twist the knife and make an example of the behaviour.. but all parties want him gone.. and dunno if its purely a $$$ figure we are wanting.. or they are being real about a possible trade.. I just dont think Trades are really a thing anymore.. they hardly ever come off.. but it would be great if it did.. we have a number of positions we could use some depth in.

It’s funny how Rava gets called out for bad defence.

Hunt, Sua & Lomax often had defensive misreads leaving gaps resulting in wingers having to make a decision to come in our stay out often resulting in tries.

In the trials and last eeek against the Dogs the issue was apparent yet again with Ilias, Sua and Suli leaving half gaps and Feagai then faced with decision making.

The wingers are damned if they do damned if they don’t and once Rava got rubbed out for some legal bone crunchers it went pear shaped quickly.

Not saying Rava is blameless but there is no doubt our defensive spacing, shape & patters are a far bigger problem than we think and ultimately the winger gets almost all the blame.

Thus problem has been around a long long time and to some degree starts with the lack of good quick lateral movement with some our middles.

Many of the late offloads by opposition forwards through the middle of the ruck that ultimately kill us are also attributable to that issue.

If we don’t sort it out it will be a long season.

Next year the halves might be KF and Atkinson, if Ilias doesn't kick on. So Ilias to NSW Cup. If Martin can't get out of Warriors reserves, would we want him? And we now have LKT in the 30 and he looked okay last year.

Once the NRL jumped on Rava's tackles, he was done. If they don't have to keep their eyes peeled for him, then every backline movement just becomes a no-worries training run.

I actually say we keep Molo, so not pay him a cent while he refuses to train and play, and then also seek an exemption in the top 30 so we can sign klemmer. Why should we let Molo go to benefit him when we can hold him to a contract in which he can’t get out of?
