I didnt think we would recruit another prop.. but then RyanC being out all season.. took all the give out of our depth for the year.... and more injuries & suspensions will come.. they always do...

We got lucky to get Klemmer for just 1yr, but we have to be really cautious buying players that will almost certainly be 2-3yr long contracts.. it has to be a proper prop upgrade.. cant just be another Guler.. we cant afford to clog Top30 spots, we already run more middles than most clubs in our 30.

Interesting that it has come out on 360 that Daly C-E requested a release before the 2024 season.
Where was the relentless scrutiny on that for the last year? Compare that silence to what we endured with Hunt (esp) and Lomax.

The key difference is that DCE, at least externally facing is extremely professional. Hunt leaked his own concerns for years and Lomax was demonstrably unhappy.

Those rules were introduced very recently in the past 10 years. It become really dedicator kind to me.

I like the days back in 90s and 00's to be honest.

Everyone is criticising Ilias for his poor game against Souths… sure he didnt ice the end of the match but neither did 12 other log s who stood and watched the field goal.

my question is what other aspects of his game were so terrible… I saw him set up his backs well, tackle well and ran reasonably… so where was he so terrible??

I'm happy we have decided not to chase DCE.
It would be a huge improvement however, short term for the club.
We need to calm the farm with Illis, he played two games and he will improve with Atkinson next year. Plenty of water under the bridge.

Once upon a time Australia was about to hit 20mill for the first time, and the super league war was ending. Our society grows with technology it becomes more raised thus more crowds and tv ratings. It about money, not to do with the rule changes. How those players feels if those godamn 6 agains make them?
