Glad to hear your son is ok. But it seems the complete opposite to the situation Ramsey is in.
Ramsey is losing weight because of all the effort he is putting into playing well and keeping fit.

An off-season of just letting his body and weight right will see him ready for season 2026.

had Ulcerative Colitis. Complete bowel removement. Small intestine was formed into a "J" pouch and connected to the schincter. Colostomy bag on one side whilst recovering from the initial operation, 1year, then the bag was moved to the left side after the connection was completed. Not totally opposite me thinks

Ramsey and his doctors seem to have done a great job and so, I trust that they know what they ae doing. If Ramsey is not up to it, they would surely not have him playing in reserve grade.

It's not the opposite; it is the same but under different circumstances

Cody's heavy training regime dictates a limited calorie intake (Or he won't finish a game or session without a toilet) and his body's inability to produce natural salts make it almost impossible to gain weight.

However, post football, hopefully Cody will be able to put on some weight like your son.

I'm sure you are proud of your sons' efforts.
He sounds like a fighter to me.

All good Hound. It is a horrid desease and anyone that can make it back to professional sport deserves all the praise and admiration that comes their way. I was sceptical that Cody could come back but he has blown my concerns out of the water. Lets hope he can still keep building and helping the club as God knows, we need way more of his dedication and guts.
