Love all the extensions!
however, space them out for f**ks sake!
Young guns that are off contract end of 27:
- couchman x 2
- Egan
- Stewart (po)
- nick T
- Halangahu
- Loko
- LKT

Bears are primed for the sniffing of our best and brightest young players
Lock in our young stars and don't make the miake of past seasons.

So they arent filling all the spots and probably havent spent the cap either

Looks like they have given up on this year

Tight A*ses

way to repay the fans and members
The Club doesn't get to keep the money they don't spend in the salary cap, you know that right? They can in effect pre-pay wages against this years cap for next year which is what i presume they're doing.
Amongst other things, this is what the Dogs did in the first couple of years under Gould, hence their warchest.

Yes the club will front end some contracts. I suggest they do this to people they want to get rid of in order to bring some more of our recruits into the top 30:

Most importantly, we need to buy 1 or 2 marquee forwards to lead our young pack on the field.
Klemmer
Sele
Cook

are good grade backups in reserve grade.

You do know it not just the club that decides, managers and players have a say and ofcourse they are going to wait for the Bears to come in to give them better bargaining.

We should try and dislodge Mitch Woods from the Dogs. Promise him a starting NRL spot. He is playing beyond his years, very smart, tough and durable. Get him to say he isn't happy that they've brought in Galvin and can no longer see an opportunity at the Dogs....even go the mental health card. Gus did it to us with Finau Latu. A bit of the same medicine for Gus

careful Hook
keep 8 seriously emerging players and loose 2 (one really) - that can still cause a volcanic meltdown !!!

I mean the next gun 21yrs old big recruit 3 year contract at Canberra gets dropped every other week this year but no meltdown when winning.........winning has a similar pattern ie everything is rarely critiqued and or it is glossed over..........loosing comes with 150% scrutiny and intensity.......and fair enough.........unless lop sided in its evidence and analysis

And hire the best Recruitment guy that is available....or steal one like the Roosters did by pinching the Raiders guy. Our football department need to be ruthless. Fill every spot with the best available or do a Gus and shake/steal the best using grimey tactics. Always turn up to a knife fight with a bazooka.
Now your just the type of man we need sitting in our board room maestro , quit your current job and we the forum members will vote you in !

Oh - if we only had voting rights .

who would want to sign here?

Given how often players speak out about the abuse they receive on social media, I reckon seeing people like you supporting that abuse would make a lot of them not want to sign for the club. Why would any player want to play for a team where a significant portion of the supporters will happily cheer someone publicly abusing you?
