Seriously??? As soon as he played that game on Sunday i knew he wasn’t coming Tigers were always going to match the 2 years after that performance he doesn’t care about the money he wanted to stay at the Tigers.
If the reports are correct & he is happy to lose $150k per year to stay with the Tigers we should give him a deadline to accept or withdraw our offer & we move on.

I cannot see the need to set a deadline - the man either accepts our offer or not .

Hopefully he will at the very least have the courtesy to contact the Dragons and let the club know that he has indeed accepted the Tigpies offer to their extension .

But as you have said SAP58 , we must move on and look for another individual elsewhere , recruitment must cast their net wider - with due diligence.

It isnt a negative about us. He's said all along that his preference was to stay at Leichardt. But watch "Old mate" turn into a "Flanno fails to get his man again" vibe
It kind of is mate. It says a lot about a club that a player would prefer to take less money to stay where they are. Top teams like roosters or Canterbury always get their man. We on the other hand have to hope we can somehow jag a decent player…we suck

I agree, it is on Flano because he tried to recruit the guy to play in a position we have covered when he is a better half than anyone we currently have...

Why not go for the ex-Raiders half, Williams, who is not playing in the ESL. I believe his contract ends in 2025.

Goes good old Georgey boy. Poss, he is contracted to Warrington until the end of 2026. But the pommies do love a transfer fee so anything is possible if the $$$ are right.

Yes, given we are underspent in 2025. Maybe we could do a deal. God knows we need a decent halfback.

I hear you mate. I mentioned Williams a while back especially when the Dolphins deal fell through. He’s committed for 2025 but said he can’t guarantee that he will be at Warrington in 2026 due to interest from the nrl. It’s there on a platter if Saints are keen. Get It bloody done. 31 in October, captain of Warrington and England. He goes good

So come on, Danial Anderson! Maybe he is just the right man to swing a marquee prop for us.

Go hard for someone like Savala, gun kicker & a genuine halfback but big unit so could slot into a ball playing lock too. I'd also go after Campbell, along with Mooney. Younger players with upside but can be genuine starters in a top 8 side. We should be building our roster to challenge for top 8 then top 4, right now we're competitive but it's not a top 8 roster.
