Kyle was always a backup...
Atko is a lock for 1 halfback spot ... Kyle will more than likely take the other spot...
LKT,,defence not up to 1st grade standard...although his attack I.M.H.O is better than Kyle...

Well he'd better get started "smashing it" then because so far two coaches in a row have dropped him to reserve grade - something Lachlan & Bwaiff seem quite forgetful about......
And barring a Titans injury crisis in their halves he'll start 2026 in reggies too. Honestly it will be objectively harder for Lachlan to get into first grade at the Titans than it was for him at the Dragons as they actually have two quality halves.

Dropped by Demetriou, Bennett and Flanagan. Was given ample opportunity by Flanagan and just couldn't nail it. Anasta is a merkin that is propagating the narrative. Anasta knows that he got a good go and that Ilias fxcked up his opportunity. But as a Manager he needs to blame Flanagan.

Let's hope the selection of Kyle at 6 and Atkinson at 7 does not block Reed's progress. To me, Reed is a 7 and Atkinson is a 6 so, in my opinion, Atkinson should play five-eighth in 2026, in preparation for 2027 when it is likely that Reed will be his halves partner in the 7 jumper.

DCE should always have been our target. Oh wait, that would mean that Kyle would not be in the halves.

I'd like to see Kyle, Lawrie, and Guler join a club in the ESL.

I Understand the frustration....

We have been poor for a long time...

Unfortunately we are a hard sell at the moment.... Start winning games and we become an attractive prospect....

As others have stated, you don't turn around 12 years of ineptness overnight....

2026 basically rebuild year... hopefully the young guys start to shine....

We are correcting the ship... But I get that it is hard to remain positive.

Glover has Humphreys, Sullivan and Ashton Ward ahead of him. His chances of playing FG will depend on injuries. Cody Walker will be guaranteed 5/8 unless he is injured. Bennett may even try Wighton or Latrell so they are pretty stacked with halves.

The problem had been at club management level for a number of years now, even though we have changed our head coach 4 times and our CEO 3 times.

There has to be a person or group of people at the Board level that need to be moved on. We can no longer tolerate this situation.

All I know is the NSW cup side finished much higher up the ladder than the NRL side. Not bad for a team that had rubbish halves, a fullback that apparently will never play FG again and a winger who was stuffed around and decided to leave and join the other winger in Canberra whom we also thought was not first grade standard.

Let’s be honest we haven’t really gone hard for a better half….. Fogharty, DCE, Sandon Smith, Pezet… some on here say there haven’t been many player movements… as listed above there have been at least 4 quality halves on the market…. we seem contented to go with what we have…. hope it works out for us

Sure or you could add to the scrap heap of young prospects that had heaps of promise but were rushed in their development, like Sloan, Sullivan and co… I’d say that’s doing what’s not working as well
