What does this even mean refusing to waive cooling off period?
It means sweet f**k all ! The so called ‘ cooling off period’
Is in case the player himself has a change of heart / mind and reneges on his original pen to paper agreement with the Dragons - not his club , but the player , as Cherry Evans did to the Gold Coast many years ago .

Don’t lose sleep over it , as I sure as hell won’t .;)

I don’t think that we will lose him in the cooling off period. For them to pay him what we are paying him will mean he will be on the same money or more as mitchell and cam murray. Wayne has been on record many times saying that he won’t pay overs for props, and whilst that may have changed in the last few years that traain of thought will still be in the back of his mind. Rabbitohs have arguably a worse spine than us so they are going to need to save some money to upgrade this area. I think that we will be Sweet.

It does feel like KK is doing everything he can to let Souths rise up

but that is a very fair position for a player that wants to stay

I have no probs at all with that

equally we have given KK every reason to leave

I’m happy with that also

I would like to believe that the man is not only coming to the Dragons for the money- quite a hefty sum to anyones way of thinking , but also for a change of scenery, call it a new beginning with many opportunities awaiting him that were not there at South’s ( no disrespect intended ) .

To be the Big Red V’s leader of the pack and a mentor to our exciting younger generation coming through the ranks , to pass on his experience and particular qualities . That in itself is almost priceless.

After the cooling-off period has finally expired we and Shane Flanagan will finally have ourselves a top tier forward who will give his all in every match .

I once heard someone say we all learn in different ways

but most of us use three styles of learning / communicating

- jumping both feet in

- push against

- and or walk away and contemplate

yet we tend to as personalities lean into one style more dominantly

it seems on this forum we have a fair few “push against” learning / communication styles 😜

One-match NRL winger lands new deal ahead of 2026 season

Sitiveni Moceidreke, a former winger for the South Sydney Rabbitohs has officially signed a new deal that will see him continue his rugby league playing career ahead of the upcoming 2026 season.

The St George Illawarra Dragons junior also had a stint with rugby union club Western Sydney Two Blues, who compete in the Shute Shield competition.

On a Rabbitohs forum they are saying that Emre Guler has had discussions with Rabbitohs to go to Rabbitohs. Could be a possible trade for Keaon to get Keaon early in 2026 since Keaon is not part of Rabbitohs future. Rabbitohs are also interested in Francis Molo for 2027 so hopefully one of them go in 2026 so we get Keaon early.
Well that would work for us
