On a Rabbitohs forum they are saying that Emre Guler has had discussions with Rabbitohs to go to Rabbitohs. Could be a possible trade for Keaon to get Keaon early in 2026 since Keaon is not part of Rabbitohs future. Rabbitohs are also interested in Francis Molo for 2027 so hopefully one of them go in 2026 so we get Keaon early.

Bennett has lost a good prop but still has a good pack of forwards. There are two top props still on the market Tino and Haas so I guess Bennett has an eye on signing one of these.

Guler provides good depth probably at a very good price. So, for 2026, Bennett could come out of this cash positive and still have good depth in his forward pack.

The Hodges thing was 23 or 24 years ago and Brisbane were stacked. Totally irrelevant, not just because of how long ago it was, but because roster-wise, it’s not even remotely comparable.

Would be equivalent Bennett swapping Hodges for Wise Kativerata back then.

There is no arrangement 'KK for Guler'. The Dragons have signed KK and are still looking for another two recruits who are current or former representative players. I'd say in 2027, Leilua, Lawrie, Sloan, Guler, and Sele are off contract. So, recruiting another couple of quality players in 2026 would be a sensible thing to do.
