Lomax is a strong athlete.
Say what you want about his mentality, ego and showboating, he is a powerful and skilful player with plenty of upside.

I am not surprised other coaches including Bellamy would have interest in him.

Saints should have put restrictions on his release as well. We were the ones who gave him the idea that a contract is not binding.

Oh Zac Lomax insists he's not a winger on $800,000 at the Dragons gets a release to be a centre at Parramatta for $600,000 ...ends up playing wing regretting his $200,000 pay cut to play a position he was already playing demands a release to play in a competition that doesn't exist only for said competition to fall through and potentially not happen.

I think you will find that Lomax has the same player manager ( Schifcofske ) as Grant, Munster & Paps, this is possibly why Storm are in the equation.
The manager is probably saying, "I know I F'd up with the whole R360 shit show, but don't worry I'll get you into a Premiership contender club instead"

Probably someone will eventually reveal that Lomax suffers from ADHD and has the attention span of a goldfish. Unfortunately however, this grubby episode says as much about the Melbourne Cheetahs and they're preparedness to do something underhanded with a contracted player.

Had no issue with Lomax wanting out from the Dragons.

He wanted to play centre and the club wasn't keen on that. Presumed Parra signed him for centre. Then there was a change of coach and he ended up back on the wing. Then R360 came along, with that sort of cash, I'd be the water boy.

I'd be royally pissed off with manager, players say, "I'll leave it to my manager to sort out". Now, he's forking out for a lawyer to sort it out and you can't blame Parra.

To much drama for me and I would have stayed on the wing.
