We'll still have Nick T, both Couchmans and Stewart can also play edge forward if we're really stretched. CST into top 30 next year if I remember correctly, he could probably handle a couple of games if needed, and I do quite like Jarrah Treweek even though he's not spoken about as much. We're pretty well covered in that spot, freeing up cap space and spending it in the spine, one more prop in addition to KK and on a couple outside backs is where we should be looking

I doubt very much that our mob of clueless big- wigs have the grey matter to ask for another player or any cash for that matter , if he is allowed to leave early then once again it shows that our brains trust are indeed brainless .

I would also ensure that he completes the season thus ensuring he fore-fills his contractual obligations to the Dragons and damn what Parramatta wants . It seems that
Ryles is just too damn friendly with too many of the Dragon players.

i dont think hes that bad, just his team is trash. We dont need him tho, hes just another 6. Unless we can get him and play him at 7, Atko at 6 and kyle to cup which i doubt will happen, and tbh we should just play Reed at 7 anyway.

I suspect we have another in mind from outside the club for an edge backrow spot but off the bench Coutts could really be a strong candidate after another NSW cup 2026 and then I belive he joins the NRL top30 for 2027 and an Ando recruit. 107kg and 195 tall and moves really well in attack. No doubt getting that NRL level defence up to the eleven it needs to be in NsW Cup first.

The narrative actually has been sounding like we were not prepared to pay 3 yrs at a premium for Sua

I think that is complete fair given his 2026 so far. Has anyone seen Sua run between players at speed like Egan was doing running at the gaps. Luc has been honestly been chalk and cheese to Sua. Wow what a transformation for Luc all round. Imagine if he wasn’t playing this season and out injured. Far out !

Egan did more than Sua in his 8 or so debut games in 2025. Egan is a gun in this fast paced footy 6 agains to the max. Egan is also clinical in defence and a great value signing for 2026/27. Probably half of what Sua is on?

I have been surprised how much Ryan Couchman has jumped ahead also and will be a worthy opponent for an edge backrow come 2027 if not before. Ryan and Toby u would guess will be upgraded / extended before long which requires $ from the cap and roster !

Not sure if this has been raised prior (apologies if so) - but for Damian Cook to continue to start ahead of Liddle can only be because he would have had it written in his contract that if he moves to the Dragons he is contractually bound to start every game.

I really hope this is not the case but i cannot think of another reason why. I wish some journo would ask Flanno and put this theory to bed.

In 2026, Egan and Hanagalu on our edge, Stewart at lock, and Leilur in the prop rotation along with the two Couchmans' and LpT.

In 2027:
KK to replace Leilua.
Drinkwater to replace Gutho.
Sami to replace Sloan.
Reed to replace Kyle.
Liddle to 9.

I reckon the experience, intensity, belief and willingness of Gutho and Cookie have kept us together otherwise the sticky tape would break and it would be a complete shambles beyond the shambles we are experiencing
