In my honest opinion:

Warriors (Origin 1) (A) - Win/Loss
Panthers (H) - Win
Eels (A) - Win
Storm (Origin 2) (A) - Win/Loss
Dragons (H)Loss
Rabbits (A) - Win
Bye
Cowboys (H) - Win
Raiders (A) - Win
Sea Eagles (H) - Win
Roosters (A) Win
Sharks (A) Win
Eels (H) Win
Titans (A) Loss
Bulldogs (H) Win/loss

I think we can get a few good wins, we've got a nice and easy run in.

Knowing our luck the teams that are turning out park footy standard play now like the roosters, raiders and eels will be sh!t hot when it comes our turn to play them.

If not a dodgy refereeing call or bullsh!t field goal should be enough to get them over the line.

Years gone by, Parra have had huge packs and crushed us.

This year, we have a much better all-round team and they are in complete shambles.

We really should get up against them to be honest.

In 2009 a winning streak is near impossible, injuries, the pink ladys and just plain bad luck. The results dont reflect it but we are probably the form side of the comp over the past month yet cant win a match. That form will not last, it cant, the comp is so close due to the salary cap. The team that wins 80% of its close encounters is the team that is still playing late into september. At present we have more talent than half the sides put together but we dont play the percentages and thats why we lose 99% of the close games. On the other hand thats why we are the best side to whatch

This was posted before last nights game.
Souths played them back into some form, their forwards dominated and the offloads were many.

despite us being 4-6 im actually very upbeat on our 2009 season. the last 3 weeks we have been the better team (by far) imo and it was only 50/50 calls/bounces/goal kicks etc that cost us the games.

if we can keep the team relatively injury free i have no doubt we will make the 8. our pack is standing up, the fringe first graders (i.e trimachi, hanbury, ayshford) have all played well when required and our defence has improved out of sight (bulldogs and broncos both scored 2 tries off kicks).

we went down by 2 points against the 2 top teams in the comp, both times we were missing one of our most influential players. in years gone by we would have lost both those games by 20 +. this team seems to have a lot more resolve about it.

imo we are streaks ahead of where we were in 06/07/08. this season could well be similar to 2004 as i honestly believe we are setting up for something big.

Up to the bye, we should def win 4 from 6, leaving us at 8 and 8 at worst I'd say.

We'll possibly gain a few for and against so we'll be level on for and against and wins/losses. Pretty good considering our 3 wrenching losses as we could've been 11 and 5 or 10-6 etc.

The Storm will be alright as far as that is concerned, only 3 origin players in Inglis, Smith and Slater. Rest will be regulars.
