How good was that! Spurs had won 21 straight at home, and Dallas have been on fire recently. To beat those teams back-to-back on the road is amazing

Very dissapointing. But if we had to lose to someone I'm happy it was Gary Paytons team. The day he was traded was like a death in the family.....

just as bad for you when they (raiders) let go Stuart and clyde?

Na Payton was worse, probably because I was only 14 when Stuart and Clyde left and didn't get to see the team play much then as I didn't have PayTV. The whole 10 years I'd supported Seattle till 2002 Payton was the man. I was gutted when the traded him, but in hindsight its been an excellent deal.

If you want any NBA gear go there. I got a Rashard Lewis singlet and am very happy with it. Cheap too, I think around $80 when the non label singlets go for $130 at Rebel over here. The one I got is Reebok Replithentic, which means its pretty much authentic. Very happy with it!!!!

edabomb, I see you're active on their message board already.

There's an interesting statement on the history page of that site - the Gary payton is the "best player in franchise history". I'm sure it's true statistically, but you could put up a good case for some of the Sonics from the championship team of 79, like Jack Sikma and Gus Williams.

Yea, you would have to consider the players from the championship side. Payton was awesome, but with the talent on the mid 90s Sonic's sides he should of really won them a championship. Plus his play post 1998 was destructive towards the team game. He did have a great 2001-2002 though. He is the best Sonic in my era though (since 1994), and will probably always be my favourite player. Ray Allen has been pretty awesome, if he re-signs he could really be a Sonics great.

Gutted about the loss today, went to sleep with them up by 5 and wasn't expecting to see them lose to the Nugs :? .

Awesome stuff!!!!! Never though Rashard would get in, but there you go. I was really dissapointed in him last season and was wondering if we should cut him loose, but hes been excellent this season. A steal at number 32 in the 98 draft.

As for Ray, hes been excellent since we traded for him. Should definately be starting in the backcourt with Nash, and would be if not for the stupid fan voted sides.

GO THE WEST!!!!!
