Was that the Shack I saw in the dressing room after the game in a suit? If so, he is already walking around without crutches.

Very good sign perhaps?

Anyone seen him lately to confirm his progress???

Yeah saw him leave the game last night. He is walking with a slight limp, but no longer aided by crutches. I think he said after the Souths game that he is ahead of schedule. It is still his aim to play again this year.

Glad to hear the big fella is on the mend.

Here is an interesting-and an immediately pointless :p-hypothetical for you all, if the Shack was miraculously fit and ready to play against Manly...would he be able to break back into our team? Horo and Mateo have hardly given us reason to be dropped as with Ben Smith and Hindmarsh.

Kris Keating suffered from a rather similar situation last year (his broken jaw/our miracle run) and if his recovery does continue to progress ahead of schedule he may indeed end up in this predicament.

Have to say I love the Shack

*Starts humming the relevant tune of the B-52 fame*

It's a pity that our stadium staff aren't as weird as the New Zealand or South African Super 14 clubs, or even the Cowboys for that matter. Otherwise we could fire the Love Shack up every time he scores a try in his sure-to-be prolific career at Parra :D

Easy dilemma to solve if the Shack is available, drop M. Keating and put Shack on the bench. Sorted.

I actually think MK is coming along very nicely indeed as the interchange hooker.

He looks very sharp when he comes on and he's changed his style to have more of a dynamic impact off the bench ala Kingston last year.

I have no doubt Ando has had him closely watching tapes of Kingston at the back end of last year to improve his game and his impact when he gets on.

I hope the Shack comes back, id slot him on the bench over Horo. Horos time will come. Id be comfortable with what ever decision DA made.

I dont think MK's form has changed to much to be honest, hes just looking better behind a forward pack thats going forward.

You do realise, that if by all miracles he does make it back this year, we are talking August at least.
