yea right a split among 300 players is damaging the world game!

You should be more worried about the richest club in rugby league underperforming and not developing the biggest junior base in the world than what some unpaid volunteers who are paying to grow the game they love around the world from the own wallets with zero assistance from anyone. That is doing much more damage to the game.

I thought the AMNRL received some sort of financial assistance from STAR Group or some other investment org? I also think it is really important to give the Raiders players some recognition. They most likely went unrepresented in the game vs Canada. There were some tough players on that team that deserved a chance at wearing the Tomahawks jersey.

That's a pathetic argument, that is no justification for anything the AMNRL are doing.

Why don't the AMNRL join the RLEF as Canada and South Africa have? Is it because they may question Niu's control?

If they haven't joined the RLIF how the hell are they eligible to take part in international competition, let alone the World Cup? It's ridiculous.

How about playing the ball not the man. I didn't mention the world game, but I did mean damaging the game in the US.

They have had many oppurtunities to gain backing but seem to have managed to c**k it up, the latest being Premier Sports who seem to have gone quiet on the AMNRL backing. I'm sure if the NRL/ESL/RLEF bodies were approached they would be happy to help but the current regime seem to be happy to go it alone.

I would love nothing more than see the game flourish, whether under the auspice of the AMNRL or any other body but at the moment you would have to be very delusional if you think the current administration is going to take the game forward in the US. And you would have to have some serious blinkers on if you can't see that the USARL is a far more professional and competent organisation.

Obviously I'm not privvy to the goings on in the AMNRL but t6he perception many get is that they are very secretive and not forth-coming with any news but when we do here news it's a grandious plan that always seems to fall flat.

What was the crowd like at game 2 dru and what did you make of the organisation this time around? Didn't they run with a rugby union curtain raiser again?

I counted about 150 crowd.

Yes there was a Rugby Union Curtain Raiser, I got the back end of it.

Organisation was nothing on the Toronto game.

Its a bit frustrating, Its hard to say anything without sounding like I am whinging or being biased, but for a game that has been advertised and known about for several months, it seemed a bit last minute in organisation.

Not sure what the hotels were like, but from on the ground, there was no proper canteen to buy food, only port-a-loos for toilets, no where to wash my hands. I know options are limited in the USA, but I am getting a bit tired of the AF fields, even with the extensions.

Things did seem to run OK on the day, there weren't any major issues from what I saw, but then again, there wasn't much there to get wrong.

Drew. Only Wiggins and O'Malveney don't appear in the provisional squad for game two. That being said. Why was Wiggins played over Padgett??????

But don't worry, it's not political................at least not to a small minority.
