The Sharks should wake up and realise it's all over in Sydney and relocate fast

I think the Sharks only hope of survival long term in the NRL now is a complete relocation to Either Perth, Adelaide, Coffs Harbour or the Sunshine Coast in QLD. Hopefully a new board will take over the Sharks and talk to the NRL try to get at least 15 million to relocate. Sell up all assets and real estate in Sydney pay off there debt and start again elsewhere.

The only alternative i see is to battle on for maybe the next at the max 5 years at the bottom of the ladder then die forever. The merger of the Dragons and the Steelers always ment the Death of the Sharks it was only a matter of time when.

and play games where?

a stadium aint built in a week.
Five home games in adelaide, five in Wellington, one on the Central Coast, and one back in the Shire for old times sake... Repeat until Sunshine Coast stadium built?

At least it has the positive of building league's profile in these other cities that want their own teams, while drawing a line under the 42 year debacle and sewing the seeds for a relocated Sharks by having them compete under their new Sunshine Coast name until that's ready.

this is up to the NRL to decide.....not the Sharks.

where will they be based? who pays for all the travel........sharks are cash poor remember...........sharks offer no value as a club......they're not a Souths or Brisbane. and if they continue to be a losing team over the next few years, they wont be an attractive promotion option either.

furthermore, there needs to be a concrete agreement with the QLD govt to build a NRL standard facility on the Sunshine Coast. the club or the NRL wont be paying for it.....and the govt will argue that they've done plenty already for rugby league over the last decade by redeveloping lang park and funding the Titans facility.

Honestly wake up people.the sharks aint going anywhere and the nrl knows it.It's only the actions of individuals in the club that has escalated what people think is a massive problem.Yes the football club is in debt but so are all sydney clubs. All clubs are in danger of folding as much as the sharks. But the difference between the sharks and other clubs is that we will have major finacial stability in the future once our assests start to generate income and that's why the nrl won't let the sharks go because they know down the track that they will be one of only a handful of sydney clubs to actually sustain themselves.I laugh at people believeing the papers.so f----ng gullible. All they are are exaggerated stories to sell papers.

 What a load of shit, you are in denial big time! Basic fact is your supporters don't turn up to games and don't deserve a team!

There's no doubt in 12 months time Cronulla will be one of the most financially secure clubs in the NRL. Brett Crowley Sharks Director

The Dragons fans who are death riding us will be dissappointed.

The Dragons fans who a decent and see the Sharks as a rival won't be.
