The problem is such players were contracted to support BAs redundant style.

That's actually a great way of describing our current predicament. "BA's redundant style".

That is why we are in the predicament that we are. And the reason why he has to go.

Nothing has changed in our style of play, for years.
- We still rely on bash and barge. The collision.
- We still basically play 5 hit ups and kick.
- We still rely on off-loads for any possible advantage, which is risky and unplanned and open to errors.
- We have no cohesion nor organistion in attack. Our set plays, when they are initiated, are awful.
- Not only are they awful, but they are also predictable and easily picked off by even some of the worst defences in the league.
- The same defensive issues we suffered from 5 or more years ago are still occurring.

I don't wear some of the defence of BA.
Seriously, c'mon. 11 years and nothing. More spoons than GF's.
Even if we won a GF this year (which ain't happening), I'd still move him on asap.

Besides a few fleeting years of mild excitement, BA's tenure at our club has been nothing but excruciating to follow and support.

Adapting and evolving is what the best coaches do.

We still play the same style & game plan as we did in 2020.

We look worn out and a side that has chased 1 too many collisions.

If the players love BA so much they can walk out.

BA is a decent coach and should get another gig somewhere in the next few years when it's available. And will do a solid job.

But it's time for a fresh start.

Adapting and evolving is what the best coaches do.

Benny is considered a good coach yet if you'd ever heard him speak on this subject, he keeps saying the game hasn't changed, the basics are still the same and some pepople like to over analyse the game, but it hasn't changed that much, keep it simple.

He doesn't use too many words and like his game, he keeps his speeches simple.

He also doesn't beleive he has to motivate his players, "if they need motivation, they should be playning in the NRL."

It was in an interview while waiting for the Dolphins to join the NRL, so its about 2 years old.
