So who's job is it to find the talent , Ricky's or Nolans ?

Both

Sticky will instruct Nolan to get a players current contract details and try and get him but I also know that Nolan asks Sticky Player A is either off contract or is looking for a release, should I make some inquiries.

Don't underestimate Sticky. Player managers love him.

If he was playing like he did in 2009 he would be worth half a million right now. I think at $260k for two years (so $500k+ total) he was worth the risk. We needed some spark in the halves.

From what he has provided for the last season and a half he is flat out deserving of a meat pie and a beer after the game...

If Peter Sterling was playing now like he did in 1986 I would pay him $1million

The problem lately hasn't been identifying the talent, it's been getting the deal over the line.

We've had cracks at taumalalo, Papalii, tamou, Scott, folau to name a few who are absolute guns. Just haven't been able to get them over the line like a roosters or dogs would.

Recruitment is going to be tough for any club who has been bottom of the table for as long as we have.

The key to long term sustainable success is retention, I am sick of young guys leaving parra and becoming stars in other footy teams! Inu is an example of a player we never should of let go! We were to busy trying to be like Melbourne that we lost our soul!

Joseph Paulo is better off the bench, not as a starting 5/8.

Sandow is going great if you consider the players around him. Once we get some go forward they will make his job easier. You can't just rely on Sandow to be the miracle man with average players around him. The recent clean out was the best thing going forward.
