I understand a 50/50 call might go your way and the next call it might not. It changes from week to week and team to team, but Souths is the most blatant no matter what team they are playing. Week after week the calls go their way.

Well I hate St George but I don't speak bias untruthful things about St George.

Gasnier is extremely unprofessional and should get fined for what he said.

Remember round 10 when Souths played the Storm in Melbourne and all the calls went against us all the 50/50 ones and we lost the penalties 8-4.

Remember when Souths played Canberra in Cairns and Adam Devcich the ref favoured Canberra and they won the penalties yet were more ildisciplined, got away with forward passes, 2 high shots to the head and didn't get penalised.

A tweet that I sent to that f**kwit Gasnier today after his unprofessional and foolish behaviour on Fox Sports: "Mark Gasnier: A delusional fool who reckons Souths get all the good calls from the refs. Souths = 21 premierships. St Merge = 1 premiership!!!".

Went with Souths mates both years and a neutral support this year and they were both laughing at the run of the green that Souths got. Last year was just comical - yes we got flogged but it didn't help how many penalties that Souths were getting with an attacking set in our half nearly every set. In my whole life going to games I have never been to a game like that watching my team get flogged and actually feeling sorry for the team knowing that they were completely out of puff getting penalised out of the game. I was wondering what the point was of attending the game seeing the ref influence the game so much.

There are dozens of studies that prove refs show biases, for scores of reasons and across many sports. It's almost certainly happening in the NRL to some degree.

It's cool though, I'm sure the NRL has a kpi for it.

Won't matter that refereeing blunders have cost the cowboys in the finals in the past, when you win it'll be down to the refs. Every team that's won a premiership in the last 20 years has been favoured by the refs, and considering that We've had 10 different premiers in that time, that's a lot of different bias. Every team gets dud calls against them, they all even out in the end, and the good teams still win, and the shit teams are still shit

Two blatantly obvious no tries being awarded arent just 50/50 calls going the Souths way. They are 100% wrong decisions that gave them 12 points they shouldn't have had, and in the case of the second one possession they should not have had.

You cant get a much bigger leg up then that. It doesn't matter what team gets those calls, people will call the refs on it. Letting a team score after being tackled and an obvious obstruction is just terrible. Not the Souths fault the refs are hopeless, but they seem to benefit more than most other teams.

I only listened to yesterdays game on the radio so I don't have too much to say on it. But some people really do have a strange attitude about this. I remember in the GF last year when Bulldogs players were milking penalties and a few around here were saying "they wouldn't have to milk them if the referees would do their job'. So it's really pointless to even talk about it any more. Souths are apparently in the wrong even when they're getting rorted.
