The Statue returns?

I think this is an indication that Tedesco is still the long-term plan for fullback and sheens is simply trying to fill the gap for the rest of the season. As already mentioned, I'd love to see Ryan given another crack at the back.

Ryan at the back would be the perfect solution with Koriebete on the wing. When Lote retires we will already have a replacement with experience and Tedesco slots straight back to fullback.

Plus Ryan will get us 150 metres per game.

No to mention Ryan is a pretty tough customer. Maybe lacks a yard of pace, but he's no slouch either.

Good clear thinking and an obvious solution.

Silly boy......... that does not happen at WT under Tim Sheens!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No, we have to rearrange the entire team and consider signing a 'fill in' player rather than promote from within.

I wonder if a sponsor will also kybosh this potential signing too, seeing as they have such great power now (a la Mason episode)? After all McKinnon was anaughty boy some years ago spitting in the playground.

He is not doing it as much this year, and Humble is more of a utility then Matt Utai

Speaking of Utai, i saw him playing Oztag last week. Is he still injured?

Would really rather him on Lotes wing at the moment if Sheens is not going to give one of the youngsters a shot.

Indeed he did.
McKinnon is a better fullback than Moltzen. Clear cut simple fact.

In saying that, he's shithouse and I don't want him back here. Goes to show how bad Moltzen is.

Ryan must be made fullback because it would almost certainly force Sheens to stop pushing him into the backrow mid game all the time.

Lawrence has been sufferring from Sheens reshuffles too, spending too much time playing at Lock and five-eighth every week.

These ridiculous positional changes are killing our attack immensely and for what purpose?

He can bang on about injuries, but we have three lower grades teams that have replacement players we can use.

Would make much more sense

I'd love to see this weekend
1 - Ryan
6 - Marshall
7 - Humble
9 - Politoni

With Koroibete and Simona on the wings. Pace and good jumpers out wide and at the back, f**k that sures up the side so much more.

Won't happen. Fulton is a better chance of playing fullback it seems than Ryan will be this year

Some short memories here...

Does anyone remember the game Moltzen had in the Semi final against St George last year??

I know Moltzen has been absolutely crap this year, but he did play a couple of decent games for us last year at the back end of the season....

I seem to remember the St George fans doing their rag last year when he didnt join them... does anyone think they would have whinged for 3 months over The Statue?

Oh goodie.

We can look forward to every year waiting for the finals for Moltzen to look anything except incompetent.

I remember every good game he has had for us at fullback because I can count them on one hand. The volumes of shit he has turned out are too many to recall individually

The issue is whether he is better then McKinnon, and if he plays one good game a year then that would be enough evidence for me....

I ask again - why did St George want him?

You are 100% correct. The anti-Moltzen crap is exactly that - crap.

I accept that he hasn't been good this year and wasn't good for long periods last year however he is definitely a better option than mcKinnon at fullback and that was proven last year.

McKinnon was simply terrible. Moltzen had some real good games.

Moltzen had about four good games last season. He was utter shit the rest of the time and aside from one half decent performance against the worst team in the comp (Penrith) he has been utter shit in every game this year.

I don't want McKinnon but he is a better player than Timid Tim.

And in the only game that really counted he couldn't wrap up the ball and we got bundled out of the finals.

Noafoluma is a FB by trade as well.

I watched a lot of the Magpies SG Ball side last year. Noafoluma was IMO easily the most impressive. More than Groat, more than Tedesco.

He played fullback and Tedesco was on the wing. From what littel I have seen of him in the U 20s this year he is still carving up.

He should be in the mix, but probably isn't a good trainer or some shit excuse like that.

With the crap we have seen I would be happy with

1 - Lawrence
2 - Ryan
3 - Ayshford
4 - Reddy
5 - Lote (though there are better replacements)
6 - Marshal
7 - Moltzen (cannot see him being dropped)

14 - Humble (First time I can see it being worth carrying a back on the bench and this is only because I can see him being a decent replacement for hooker as Fulton is likely to play there)
