Maxwell - 1 Benji throws a line ball to Cooper to score beside the posts but ruled forward. Ok it was 50/50 but i have seen plenty similar let go.

At best we could have been 18-12 ahead at the break, and changed the outcome of the second half

I agree with most other fans on here that the team is playing rudderless and the coach needs to go, but you can't call me a fool for suggesting that 3 ref blunders in the first half would have brought the scores closer and made for a different 2nd half.

Whats so foolish about that?

Refs errors had no bearing what so ever on the match. Our team were absolutely pathetic so writing a post which which focuses on a couple of ref decisions is stupid in my opinion.

It had no bearing on the second half at all, the players had well and truly showed they were completely out played and well beaten by that point... It was just a matter of by how much, 36 or 50 if Hayne really decided to turn the screws...

In all fairness to Dragon Blood, we copped a load of crap from the ref, particularly in the first half. Maxwell had a shocker.

Imo we played a good first half, better than last week, but were shafted by poor refereeing. Should have been 6-all. But we were shit in the second half... bad to worst.

The real problem is in front office. Remember games like this when the next board elections are due.

Although others have been harsh on this comment I agree with you 100%. We are not good enough to absorb a 12pt turn around due to refs mistakes and they happen every week. Sure the Thompson one was worse than most but refs calls do change momentum and if your team isn't performing well its hard to swing it back. It's also worth a mention that Parra scored on the set following the Thompson disallowed try so potentially we could've been up 12-6 and there is nobody that can say that isn't a better position than 0-12. 18pt turn around will be too much for most teams then as we do just lost heart. While Beale most likely wouldve scored u can't rule that a penalty try but it was without any doubt a sinbin offence,please remind me why we have one? I'd actually like to see that rule changed to if there was a possibility that the player would've scored than the penalty try is awarded, why side with the offending player? It doesn't make sense!

You guys had a cracking first few weeks without "the dugan",then he comes back and it all falls to s**t,this is no coincidence.
You guys blame the chinless one for all your current problems(I agree he aint the best coach)but he isnt to blame for the heartless showing the last few weeks,"the dugan" is.he had some good game plans in the first few weeks with the unselfish team player that is quinlin,then "the dugan comes back and it all goes pear shaped."the dugan has caused a player rift within the playing group,just like he did at canberra.
Word is that "the dugan"does not get along with the chinless one and now blames him for his SOO non selection.Doust promised(during contract negotiations) "the dugan"a new coach in the new year if the chinless one didnt perform,well the dugan is making sure they dont perform (with his player rift)so they get a new coach.
this may be a good thing for your club but to have one player have so much power and influence is crazy,he aint no cam smith or robbie farrah.

But other dude is right, Mitch rein is a Excellent hooker compared to us on the forum obviously but compared to nearly every other hooker in the comp he isn't really anywhere near them.

I have got to say he does give %100 every time he goes out there and he does make a lot of tackles but look at the other hookers in the comp, they actually know how to set up the attack instead of just feeding to the forwards of the halves.

The hookers job is to actually start the play and be the first guy to beat or get outside of his man so that everyone else out wider is now effectively in a overlap ( watch cam Smith do it, he steps out past the markers so he brings in the first defender in the line, which turns the defence line in towards him at the play the ball ) , Mitch Rein does none of this as I haven't seen any attack in his game sine he has been in first grade.

Well anyway, I hope Garvey and Pumipi ( I believe is our best hooker anyway ) go out there and tear it up and not show that Rein is crap but that we do have other options and we should not be afraid to use them.

To add sharkies4me, yes I have given you your new name scumbag, ex supporters like you epitomise that you enjoy supporting soft teams like the dragons and the sharkies. The quicker we get a rid of our entire front row, get a new coach and a new culture will be when we have harden up players, coaching staff and supporters like me and other tough nut supporters who I know many of that can handle the truth.
