So you agree that if a few of your heavily invested 11-13 top players at other clubs get injured, they won't win it either? Would that , by your logic, mean that when other teams lose those 'heavily invested' top players, that Dragons would be better equipped by having more above average squad members? Therefore not really giving those other teams a chance to win the comp?
Have you just started following the game? I'm confused as to how you know what Dragons logic is and the player payments across the NRL that support your claims.

   jubilee you just put someone in his place :lol:

Wow your maths is almost as good as your comprehension!

In 2009 (the year we won the Minor Premiership) we totalled 10,862 members for the entire season. In 2010 (our Premiership year) we totalled 13,327 members by March.

In 2012 (the year before the "roadmap", and 2 years after the Premiership) we peaked at around 20,000 members for the entire year.

Last year we hit 13,000 members before Round 1 (on par with 2010 - a year after winning the Minor Premiership), and for 2015 we currently sit on 14,011 (actually better than 2010) and counting. Given the lack of success this club has enjoyed on the field since 2011, that's actually quite remarkable!

The fact that you view those numbers as "almost halved" shows that you're either beyond pessemistic (the glass is half empty, even when it actually isn't....) or you're just not very bright.

But hey, since when does Grouch let the truth get in the way of a good argument!

You're such a f@ckwit.

Apologetics - Apologetics (from Greek ἀπολογία, "speaking in defense") is the discipline of defending a position (often religious) through the systematic use of information.

Damn these apologetics using information.

In the*English language, the word*apology*is derived from the Greek word, but its use has changed; its primary sense now refers to a plea for forgiveness for a wrong act. Implicit in this is an admission of guilt, thus turning on its head the "speaking in defense" aspect of the original concept.

Next time, try a little context.

I thought apologetics was the right word to use there...didnt think he was labelling anyone an 'apologetic', rather just saying that The Nick believes in mediocrity and apologetics (i.e the act of apologies)...

LOL insults - the last refuge of the moron. Took a little longer than I expected, but you finally got there, Repetitive Spew.

At least Grouch, to his credit, can stick to the basis of his argument (even if he does have a tendency to contradict himself). Can't even say that much for yourself.
