I don't like the colour scheme. Call me pedantic but the green and beige together just doesn't do it for me.

Yeah i dont get why Warriors are above Eels ???
They have a better "for" but maybe its because they have that extra game and the warriors have played one less and still match them

early days yet... does anyone reckon we should go back to split rounds rather than having the bye?

thats what makes it misleading.

as far as the table goes i'm impressed with manly coming first but also sharks and tigers to be where they are after shaky starts to the season.

Eels should be above the Warriors if the diff is equal, yet theyve won more games.

If the FOR minus AGAINST points difference is the same, then it goes to percentages, ie. FOR divided by AGAINST. Warriors are slightly ahead there, but it won't matter next Monday.

As far as the overall table goes, compare last year's table after round 10 to last year's table after round 26. Discuss that.

Cowboys have scored 213
They have conceded 210
This is a differential of +3
They are below the tigers
They are the donkey that leads the melbourne cup after 1200m
They have scott minto playing
They are garbage
THANK YOU THAT IS ALL

Ah it seems I was right about you having an unhealthy obsession with the Cowboys...
Wouldn't be a troll now would we?

Two things stand out:

* Canterbury with a bye in hand are on 10pts, 2pts from 3rd.
* Brisbane with a bye in hand are on 8pts, 2pts out of the top eight.

These two modern day league powerhouses are copping plenty of criticism though when they have their full compliment back, I think they are going to make a second half run for the top four and have the doomsayers eat their words. Both teams have great rosters, the cream will rise to the top.

Melbourne and Manly are 6pts abreast from the competition - they are easily our two best teams, I cannot wait for Saturday night.

My team, the Gold Coast, are hanging in there and if they can win their next couple including the bye, they are on 14pts. Not bad for the first half of the season. A long way to go, a LOT of improvement needed on both sides of the ball.

Manly Melbourne Canterbury and NQ will be the top four. Mark my words. In no particular order of course :)

It's a sign of the closeness of the competition when a team can have the bye and still move down the ladder. Of course if Souths finished 9th on for-and-against by 1 point come Round 25 let's just say I'd be slightly annoyed.

No Chance. Tigers and the Warriors fighting it out with the rest for the top 4 spots.
